IX. Procedure for Award of the Acharya-Tibet Scholarship:

The Department of Education (Scholarships) may promote scholarships provided by Acharya Institutes through advertisement among Tibetan Settlement in India who are eligible for collegiate education. The university shall also promote the scholarships on its website and other social media platforms

Acharya-Tibet Scholarship

is 30 th May 2019.

Students can apply online via www.acharya.ac.in for their choice of course based on

the scholarship qualifying criteria.

X. Conditions of scholarship:

a. The offer of scholarship is limited to the program that the scholarship is offered for

(refer Table 1).

b. Under no circumstances can the scholarship be clubbed together or transferred to

another program.

c. Scholars admitted under this scholarship cannot avail any other scholarship or

financial assistance from Acharya Institutes.

d. This Scholarship is based on the student’s potential to excel in academics and on

admission they will be regularly monitored for both performance and attendance. In

case the students’ performance is below par, ACHARYA shall inform the student, the

parents and the concerned department/sponsor periodically. The student shall be

provided with Proctorial help and Counseling through a Faculty assigned to the

student to enable them to improve. If the students’ performance does not improve

even during the further Year of study, ACHARYA reserves the right to with draw the

offer of Scholarship and the student shall pay the full tuition fee for the remaining

period of study.

e. Students have to meet the minimum entry requirements of the University to avail the

scholarship offer.

f. Students admitted under the scholarship shall pay the remainder of the fee /or

applicable miscellaneous fee, prior to reporting to the campus or on arrival at the

campus. The fee pertaining to that academic year shall be paid on or before the date

of class commencement.
