The working population- general information• Since many years number of employees rose• Every year there was a new record• Reason: Many immigrants• Immigrants are good for the labour market• In the moment the Germans are very career-

orientated • Family gets more unimportant

– So the statistics are not exact!

• 68% of women between 15 and 64 years work• From these women 45% in part-time-jobs

because of their family• Their wage is 20% less than the wage of men• Only 20% of women are in leadership

Unemployment rate in 2015• Unemployment rate hit the record low in June 2015 (6,2%) Lowest level since December 1991• In October many young people aren´t registered asunemployed anymore (school starts again)• Unemployment will probably increase in 2016 again
