Welcome to Cley Windmill - guesthouseand self-catering accommodation.

The Windmill is in the village of Cley-next-the-Sea, Norfolk and is surroundedby reeds, marshes and the River Glavenflowing out towards the sea. We are alsonext to one of the best nature reserves forbird watching in the UK.

The Windmill itself can sleep 12 guests in 6 rooms and a further 8 guests can beaccommodated in the separate BoatHouse, Long House and Dovecote. Thisflexibility makes the windmill an idealplace for wedding parties, house parties or large groups.

Bed and breakfastIn the Mill there are 6 highly individualrooms, each with original features, en-suitebathrooms, flat-screen TV/DVDs andcomplimentary WiFi.

River Room A spacious double bedroom with a dooropening directly onto the gardens.

Miller’s RoomThis pretty double bedroom has a privateentrance and views of the walled garden.

Wheat ChamberCircular tower room with twin beds (or king-size double) and superb views.

Barley BinA large room with twin beds (or king-sizedouble) and a sofabed. Facing south, theroom has views of the village.

Stone RoomThis circular double room has a privatedoorway onto the balcony which encirclesthe Mill and the views are spectacular.

Wheel Room For a real ‘windmill experience’, this roomhas the best views from the top of the Milland is truly unique. Climb a steep carpetedladder to your room which has a four-poster oak bed and an amazingshower-room (again accessed by a ladder).

Our garden roomsFor something a little more private,several of the Windmill’s outsidebuildings have been beautifully convertedinto snug little rooms and cottages. Eachone is equipped with a flat-screenTV/DVD, complimentary WiFi and anen-suite bathroom.

The Boat HouseLocated in the courtyard. Step throughyour own front door into a doublebedroom with vaulted wooden ceiling anddeeply cushioned king-size four poster bed

The Long HouseA long, flint-walled private room withviews out over the marshes and the riverGlaven. It has a cosy sitting room areawith leather sofa, a king-size four posterbed and a modern shower-room.

The Dovecote This comfortable retreat is a snug flint-walled-cottage with its own front door(normally let on a weekly basis for self-catering). It has a living area with openplan kitchen, a master bedroom andbathroom. Stairs lead to a mezzaninegallery where there is a double bed undera vaulted wooden ceiling.

The Dovecote has views of the Mill and isadjacent to the Mill’s walled garden.

Host a house party The Windmill is the perfect setting for ahouse party, where family and friends cancelebrate a special occasion or just spend a wonderful few days, relaxing in thisbreathtaking part of Norfolk.

You can take over the entire windmill,including all the b&b rooms to entertainyour 16 guests, or book Dovecote as well,to take your numbers to 18 or 20. Dinetogether, enjoying a home-cooked threecourse meal, without having to do thewashing up! All you need to do is simplyrelax and let us take care of everything.
