Paper Recycling All grades and types of paper and cardboard can be placed in the recycling bin. But are all paper materials the same? Actually, they are not and here are some examples: • Corrugated and cardboard boxes are made with high-grade fiber to give them strength. • Milk cartons and juice boxes can be recycled. • Newspaper goes through a “deinking” process and is turned back into pulp then made into newsprint again. • Copy paper and junk mail is most commonly recycled. Recordatorio! Recolección Residencial de Árboles de Navidad!
Burrtec recogerá sus árboles navideños por 2 semanas a partir de diciembre 26. Simplemente coloque su arbolito en la acera junto a su contenedor el día regular de su recolección. Árboles más de 6 pies deben ser cortados por la mitad. Por favor quite todos los ornamentos y la base del árbol.
Aproximadamente el 80% de la basura de los días festivos es reciclable. Todas las cajas de regalo, papel de envolver, tarjetas de navidad, y embalajes de cartón son artículos que pueden ser colocados en el barril de reciclaje. Burrtec recogerá el exceso de basura y reciclables de los días festivos por un periodo de una semana a partir del 26 de diciembre. Coloque el exceso de basura/reciclables en bolsas junto a los contenedores automatizados en el día de recolección.
