Civil Engineering Department
INTRODUCTION
The Department of Civil Engineering has taken this to heart and is working to
address these challenges – both through wide-ranging research in fields as
varied as geographic information systems, climate studies, infrastructure
policy, complex networks, disaster management, energy studies, biomaterials,
nanotechnology, and communications and information technology, as well as
through a flexible curriculum which does not limit students at any level to the
traditional boundaries of the discipline of civil engineering. Keeping in mind
the breadth of the Civil Engineering domain, the academic programs are
focused towards building analytical capabilities and project-based learning to
enable students to understand and resolve a wide variety of practical
problems. Our hope is that we will equip students with a strong skill set such
that they not only become outstanding professional civil engineers, but also
learn to engage with social and management sciences to consider the larger
social, economic, and environmental ramifications of civil works.
OUTLINE OF THE EVENT
We have arranged a project fair of the final year Civil engineering students at
RK building KIT, Kalol K2-06 Date: 05.04.2019 Friday, as a part of GTU
innovation council program. In which total 08 groups of the students had
participated actively and shown their innovative ideas by posters and
working model. Project fair gives platform for the students to show their
skills so that they can get inspiration and also motivation from Managing
Director, internal faculties, HODs and Principal.

Mechanical Engineering Department
INTRODUCTION
Mechanical Engineering plays a major role in structuring the real world, the
systems we use, the means by which we commute and the energy that powers
these to deliver the basic necessities of life. Mechanical engineers design,
manufacture and maintain machinery used by all disciplines of engineering.
This discipline has attracted outstanding individuals and helped in addressing
the crucial technical challenges in the contemporary world. The career path of
a mechanical engineer is largely determined by individual choice – a unique
advantage in an ever-changing competitive world. The studies of mechanical
engineers focus on material science, solid and fluid mechanics,
thermodynamics, heat transfer, controls, hydraulic machines, design and
manufacturing. To summarize, the versatility, wide-ranging scope and
universal relevance of mechanical engineering open up career avenues in all
possible branches of the engineering profession.
OUTLINE OF THE EVENT We have organized a project fair of the final year mechanical engineering
students, as a part of GTU innovation council program. In which total 26
groups of the students had taken an interest effectively and appeared creative
