Important Changes to Your Credit Card Account TermsThe following is a summary of changes thatare being made to your credit card accountterms. These changes will take effect on December 1, 2014.
You have the right to reject these changes.However, if you do reject these changes youwill not be able to use your credit card accountfor new transactions. You can reject thesechanges by calling the Loan Department at800-451-3477.

Welcome to the 4th quarter edition of“Inside” Riverfront Federal Credit Union,the place where we illustrate for youthe latest goings-on and discuss thethings that are quickly getting ready tostart. As always, we greatly appreciateyou, our members, and welcome yourfeedback. We are always looking for abetter way to serve you and to makeyour financial life better. Over the last few months, we have beendiscussing two important services thatwe are adding to the never-ending list:mobile banking and mortgage loans. Iam sure you have seen by now that ournew mobile banking app is available foruse. If you’ve not already done so, Iencourage you to give it a try as weknow you will like it. Also, we are in thefinal phase of development for the newFirst Mortgage Loan Program. In aboutanother month, you can finance thepurchase of your dream home righthere at your credit union. Beyond that,we have begun the process ofdeveloping new and better ways toserve you, from quick and efficient newmember documentation, to assistingyou in organizing all of your financialneeds under one roof. As you know,life as we know it today can get veryhectic. We, at Riverfront Federal CreditUnion, understand and are in theprocess of developing a tool to helpyou manage all of your day to dayfinancial needs in one location, yourcredit union. It just makes sense; thiscredit union is the “house” that youbuilt. So, be on the look-out forinformation that will make yourfinancial life better.
Aside from the services we have beendeveloping and launching over the lastseveral months, we have made it easierfor you to get a loan. Not only have werevised the process, but we haveassociates standing by to help you getto where you want to go. Need a newcar, not a problem! Make the processeven easier by coming in and gettingpre-approved. Need a snow blowerfor the lovely Pennsylvania winter, easy;as simple as completing theapplication. Granted, we cannot always
make every loan request, but we will gothe extra step and help you get on theroad to recovery. Additionally, theLending and Financial Services staff willalways evaluate your credit report andshow you ways that we can help youimprove your financial life. After all, ourjob is to help and protect you, ourmember and greatest asset.

MasterCard® Zero Liability Rule ChangeMasterCard has announced changes to its rules limiting cardholder liability forunauthorized use which become effective on October 17, 2014.
A Riverfront MasterCard debitcard holder will not be liable for a transaction thatwas not authorized by the cardholder if the cardholder exercised reasonable carein safeguarding the card from risk of loss or theft and, upon becoming aware ofsuch loss or theft, promptly reported the loss or theft to the credit union. The ruleapplies to all transactions conducted with your Riverfront MasterCard debit card,including PIN-based transactions at the POS and ATM.
This rule shall not apply to a transaction conducted with a card that is:a. issued to an entity other than a natural person;b. issued for a commercial purpose; provided, the rule shall apply to a
transaction conducted with a card for a “small business” program as described on www.mastercardbusiness.com (under “Small Business,” selectthe “Products” tab);
c. issued and/or sold to a person until such time as that person’s identity isregistered by or on behalf of the issuer in connection with such issuanceand/or sale, which registration may include customer identification programrequirements.
Continued use of your card on/after this date constitutes your acceptance andagreement to the MasterCard Debit Card and ATM Card Agreement.

Type “Riverfront FCU”in the search box to find and download our app. Oncethe download is complete, you will see an “R” icon onyour home screen or in your app folder. Tap the “R”icon to gain access to your accounts. If you use OnlineBanking, using the app will be a familiar experience.
Safety is Our Top PriorityYour session is protected by the same high levels ofsecurity and encryption as your Online Banking. Wetake security very seriously and always doeverything within reason to protect our members’valuable data. Your mobile transactions areencrypted and users are always authenticatedbefore granting access to Online and MobileBanking.
