Hello Dear friends..His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has recognized the UAE flag as the symbol of national identity, and accordingly, he declared Flag Day to be celebrated by the UAE Government and people on the same day His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan was elected UAE president, which is November 3.

Flag Day declaration reflects the deep respect we attach to the flag as a symbol of our nationality, allegiance, and sovereignty.

Flag Day is also an occasion to commemorate our community values and the national unity of all members of our society. Our beloved country is the only Arab state that officially celebrates the Flag Day as a national day among Arab states.

Let us all celebrate the occasion, and may peace prevail, and the unity of our ranks be always preserved

RTA educate school children on front-seat hazardsThe Roads & Transport Authority has organised new workshops to increase traffic awareness among pupils in Dubai schools, including Al-Shrooq Private School, National Dubai School – Al Tawar, Al Eman Private School, Star International, and Al Nada Kindergarten. The campaign focused on teaching children under the age of 10 about the hazards of sitting in the front seat of a vehicle.Supported with practical explanation and illustrations, the workshops taught the pupils why it was dangerous for children to sit in front, especially since their small bodies make the safety belt less effective in case of accidents as they may slip from it. They were urged to train themselves on wearing the safety belt when they sit in front once they cross the age of 10 and their height was not less than 147 cm.The workshop also underlined the mistakes parents make when they let their children sit with them in front, stressing the fact this practice was in violation of traffic rules, incurring a AED400 fine and four traffic points on the driver’s record.

The Traffic Department’s Traffic Awareness Section has organised a workshop for National Charity Schools’ students, entitled “Pupils Safety on the School Bus”, at KidZania Theatre in Dubai Mall. Student’s interactions with various items of the workshop were great. The workshop included also competitions and prizes were distributed to the winners.

Lecture for Crescent School drivers

The Traffic Department’s Traffic Awareness team recently held a lecture on safety belts for bus drivers at Crescent Private School. The lecture focused on the need for bus drivers to use the safety belt while driving pupils to and from school to ensure his and their safety. Drivers were reminded of a AED400 fine bus drivers would receive when failing to wear the belt.

RTA Traffic Department has organized the 7th agriculture fair for seedlings at RTA’s main quarters in cooperation with Enable Company. The fair, which is organized for RTA staff to encourage home and garden horticulture, witnessed strong attendance and sale of seedlings and gardening tools.

Lecture for Westminster School driversA lecture on road distractions organised for Westminster School bus drivers by the Traffic Awareness team on the school’s premises.The lecture covered various kinds of driving distractions in the vehicle and on the road, and the serious hazard they may pose to safety, along with the proper procedures to deal with distractions.

The Baby ChefChicken Gravy Pasta

Hello, my friends. I’m sure you all like pasta, and today I

Ingredients:Half kilo of diced

chicken, one-pack boiled pasta, one cup of diced tomato, cut onion, mashed garlic, one cup of sliced mushrooms,

one red capsicum, grated cheese, salt and

oil

start cooking on regular fire
