• Caliber: 12.7 mm (0.50 in) • Total weight (unloaded): 12.9 kg (28.5 lb) • Magazine capacity: 10 rounds • Weight of magazine: 1.87 kg (4.12 lb) • Length: 1,448 mm (57 in) • Barrel length: 737 mm (29 in) • Muzzle velocity: 853 m/ s (2,800 ft/s) • Maximum Range: 6,812 m (7,450 yd) • Maximum Effective Range: 1,829 m (2,000 yd)
ammunition
• The Barrett M107 uses a rim fire .50 caliber rifle bullet.
• A rim fire bullet has gun powder in the rim of the bullet which ignites and sends the bullet down the barrel.
Semi automatic
• This gun has to be a semi automatic for a few reasons. First if it was a bolt action or a single shot it would shatter your shoulder
due to the large cartridge in the chamber and the thrust in the projectile.
