We are happy to present you one of the most difficult and impressive ULTRA- TRAILS in the eastern Alps and kindly in-vite you to take part in one of the great-est adventures with us, no matter if you are an athlete, spectator or team-mem-ber. We want to express our gratitude to all our sponsors and partners, without whom this event would not be possible.

We build upon the great premiere and the participants’ feedback. In coopera-tion with professional runners we have been working on the route and were able to improve and develop many de-tails concerning the race. The most visi-ble results being the two new competi-tions, Gletscherwelt Trail and GGUT 110 I 2 team relay, on which you will find more detailed information on the following pages.

The highlights remain: The route of GGUT 110 will again lead you over 110 km and 6500 m altitude climb around Austria’s highest mountain, the Grossglockner (3798m). Runners are crossing three Aus-trian provinces and seven valleys, pass-ing 14 glaciers while being surrounded by more than 300 summits higher than 3000 m. Markus Amon and Klaus Gös-weiner finished GGUT 110 in 16 h 45 min last year. Who will be the first to be back again in Kaprun this year?
