BRIEF COMPANY PROFILE

QBR Research, is a firm that plans, executes and offers consulting, contracting and training services in the areas of marketing research, media research, opinion polling and social research.

Since its inception, QBR and its individual principal investigators have distinguished themselves in various research areas by offering services to an impressive range of clients.

QBR’s clients include the Ghana Social Marketing Foundation (GSMF), the Futures Group (USA), the Danish International Development Agency, (DANIDA), Shell Ghana Limited, the Health Education Division of the Ministry of Health (HED/ MOH), the John Hopkins University/Population Communication Services (JHU/PCS), The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) the Electricity Corporation of Ghana (ECG), African Online, the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), and Nestle Ghana Limited, GJA and VALCO etc.

For these clients, QBR has performed a variety of research activities including market intelligence study, image studies, brands use and perception study, mystery customer studies, advertising and packaging pretest, just to mention a few.

In order for a client to derive maximum benefit from its association with QBR, all research activities are tailor-made for the client through a process based on consultation and mutual acceptance.

For specific projects, waves of surveys are conducted to track changes in attitudes, if any, in order to assist in management and marketing operations for products and services.

QBR has the capacity for undertaking product pre-testing, prescription audits, retails audits, distribution tests and omnibus (syndicated research) studies. QBR also has the capacity to handle research through the use of Rapid Assessment Procedures (RAP) and Development Market Research (DMR).

The firm handles, on a grand or minor scale, monitoring and evaluation of programmes and activities for its clients. The evaluation process can be done as the activity progresses. The monitoring can also be summative, whereby QBR completely undertakes a project and evaluates it based on project goals, to assess success or impact as the case may be.

QBR has some personnel, both full time and part time, who have working knowledge of French and can therefore undertake various tasks in Francophone countries.
