A BIBLIOGRAPHY OF THE ABS METHODS

Silvia Nicolai, Emilio Spedicato

University of Bergamo

Abstract A tentatively complete bibliography of ABS methods up to the end

of 1998 is given, containing ??? entries.

Key Words ABS methods, linear equations, nonlinear equations, linear pro-

gramming, nonlinear optimization.

1. Introduction

Vespucci et al. (1992) have given a 205 entries bibliography of ABS methods up to

the end of 1991. The present bibliography, tentatively complete up to the end of 1996,

contains 303 entries. Some papers predating the formally dened ABS class, by Huang

and Egervary, are quoted because of their relations with ABS methods.
