After celebrating our 75th birthday last year, Royal Windsor Horse Show is looking forward to the next 75years. As Organisers we strive to continually update the Show by introducing new classes and displays andcreating an enhanced experience for our visitors and, of course, our competitors.
This year there are some new showing classes, a new extreme driving class and we are delighted to announcethat the Rolex Grand Prix now has a larger prize fund than ever before. We are proud that the Showcontinues to host some of the best international equestrian competitions in the UK, including CSI-5* Jumping, the Al Shira’aa CDI-4* Dressage, the Land Rover CAIO-4* Carriage Driving and the CEI-2* Endurance Ride in theGreat Park. All five arenas at the Show have a packed programme which we hope you, your family and friendswill enjoy.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening we are introducing a new entertainment this year – The WindsorPageant – this is the first of a four year programme of evening events at the Show. The Pageant involves 400horses, 500 performers and 30 carriages and is an equestrian and musical feast of entertainment thatcelebrates the birth and life of Queen Victoria. There are special discounts on tickets available forcompetitors – we will notify you of these after receiving your entry – but for further information please visitwww.windsorpageant.co.uk
Entries to the national jumping classes and showing classes may be made online at www.rwhs.co.uk.Importantly, please see conditions re Equine Influenza (page 12) and Dress in the rings (page 66).
We very much look forward to welcoming you to the Show.
Kind regards
SIMON BROOKS-WARD CVO OBE TD,Show Director
