THE UNIVERSITY

In its more than 40 years of existence the University of Malaga has taken on a major role as both principal catalyst of the cultural life of the city and fundamental platform for future developments in the fields of technology and research. The process of creation of the University of Málaga started in 1968 but Málaga had to wait until 1972 to make it official with the foundation of the Faclulties of Medicine and Economic.

The University of Malaga constitutes one of the three vertices of the so-called “productive triangle” of the city, together with the International Airport and the PTA or Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía (Andalusian Science and Technology Park).

At present the University of Malaga has two campuses, El Ejido and Teatinos, in addition to a few other buildings located in different parts of the city.

The ultimate objective of the policy of the university regarding infrastructure is to eventually have all university centres and services located on the Teatinos Campus with the expamtion of a wider list of degrees, and becoming in a more complete university campus.

30th ERASMUS

Whether people have improved their chances of finding a job, developed fresh perspectives on sustainable development, learnt a new language, gained a clearer idea of European citizenship, or found a new passion for volunteering: Erasmus+ has produced many success stories.

What started as a student mobility programme in 1987, has grown into something bigger and enriched the lives of more than 9 million direct participants, not to mention the indirect impact it has had on so many others. That’s why in 2014 we combined many programmes into one: Erasmus+.

We have also created a Facebook group in order to get in touch before the Staff Training Week begins.

So find this name on Facebook:

30th Erasmus + STW Málaga and give a LIKE to start your participation.
