Catholic Appeal 2015 Outcome:
Thank you to all parishioners who made pledges to the 2015 Catholic Appeal. The fi-nal amount of paid pledges was $38,356.25 which was $1,476.25 over the assessment. 65% of money paid above our goal is given back to the parish in the form of a rebate. Be-cause of your generosity the parish received a check for $959.56. Thank you for your sup-port and for enabling us to meet our goal.
Campaña Católica 2015 Resultado:
¡Gracias a todos los feligreses que hicieron promesas a la Campaña Católica de 2015. El importe final de las promesas de pago fue de $38,356.25 que sobrepaso la evaluación por $1,476.25. 65% de los fondos depositados por encima de nuestra meta es devuelta a la parroquia en la forma de un descuento. Cuaresma Normas y Reglamentos
Abstinencia: católicos mayores de 14 años de edad están obligados a las obligaciones de la abstinen-cia. La abstinencia comenzará en la celebración de Miércoles de Ceniza y los viernes de Cuaresma. En los días de abstinencia, la carne no se puede comer en absoluto.
Ayuno: los católicos mayores de 18 y hasta el comienzo de sus sesenta años están obligados al ayuno. Miércoles de Ceniza y el Viernes Santo son días de ayuno. En estos días sólo una comida completa está permitido. Las otras dos comidas sin carne, suficiente para mantener la fuerza, se pueden tomar de acuerdo a las necesidades de cada uno, pero juntas no deben igualar otra comida completa. Comer entre comidas no es permitido, pero líquidos, incluyendo leche y jugos de fruta son permitidos.
El Vía Crucis se llevará a cabo todos los viernes después de la Misa de 9:00 am en Ingles y de 7:00 pm en español. A partir del primer viernes de Cuaresma, 12 de febrero, hasta el viernes, 18 de marzo.

Lenten Rules and Regulations
Abstinence: Catholics over 14 years of age are bound to the obligations of abstinence. Abstinence is to be observed on Ash Wednesday and the Fridays of Lent. On days of abstinence, meat may not be eaten at all.
Fast: Catholics over 18 and up to the beginning of their sixtieth year are bound to the obligation of fasting. Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are the days of fasting. On these days only one full meal is allowed. Two other meatless meals, sufficient to maintain strength, may be taken according to each one’s needs, but together they should not equal another full meal. Eating between meals is not permit-ted, but liquids, including milk and fruit juices are allowed.
Stations of the Cross will take place every Friday after the 9:00 am Mass in English and at 7:00 pm Mass in Spanish beginning on the First Friday of Lent, February 12th, through Friday, March 18th.
