November is National Aviation History Month

Airplane CABIN Fever While most parts of the country are talking about "cabin fever" and closing down for the

winter in hibernation, our residents are just getting started with beautiful Arizonaweather. Therefore, the only Cabin Fever that Desert Flower will be experiencingis getting anxious over airplane cabins by celebrating National Aviation Month!

We parachute into Aviation month with our Desert Flower Cinema showing of AcademyAward winning film The Aviator starring Leondardo DiCaprio (Nov. 8th). Then, on

November 19th, we will have a special presentation from the Arizona Department ofPublic Safety in regards to their Aviation Unit. We will follow that discussion up withour monthly outing on Wednesday, November 21st to the Commemorative Air Force

Museum where residents will take an edu-venture through history and learn how aircraftevolved as a heroic partner to ground and sea operations from WWI to

present. Furthermore, our Aviation History month will come to a close with our ScenicDrive to the Scottsdale Airpark on November 30th where residents will have a bus tour

of the airport!
