It’s ideal to schedule your mammogram about a week after your menstrual cycle so your breasts won’t be

as tender or swollen.

skip lotions & deodorantsDo not apply deodorant,

lotion, powder or ointment on the day of your screening,

they can appear as white spots on your scan.

wear pants, not a dress

You will be removing your top & bra for your scan,

so a two-piece outfit is typically the most comfortable choice.

what to expect during a mamm

A mammogram typically takes about 20 minutes. Each breast will be compressed for a few seconds & repositioned
