Manish is a very down to earth person beside so much fame and success. He can be calle2005manishsummer001d a simple person who saw a dream and work harder and harder to persui them. Manish is from a medium class punjai family. His father wanted him to join his business but Manish was creative and wanted to create some space for himself in some creative field. Manish was not professionaly trained but he was having full confidence on his talen

MANISH AT STRUGGLING AGE-

After this decision there was 15 years of hard work which made Manish real Manish and the Manish Malhotra we all know. As there was no seriousness for the fashion in the film industry earlier actors were very loud and wore studio-tailor-styled-clothes, which were garish and jarring on the eye for discerning cine-goers. Initially, no filmmakers were interested in paying designers or taking there help. Many times the designers have to face problems like cheque bouncing and this discouraged many of them but Manish created a space for himself and made a mark inspite of all these problems.

MANISH AND HIS STYLE OF WORKING-

He was the first designer who use to ask for the scripts before designing the dresses for the particular scene. This was surprising for some directors in early stages but his work was the best answer for all there confusions as he use to realize the character and then design. We can take a example of dress designed for Kareena Kapoor for the film Ashoka. Kareena, who plays Princess Kaurwaki in the film, is wearing period costumes. Manish Malhotra not only design the outfit but the entire look this is what his speciality is. Though Kareena was a princess in Ashoka he has not Accessorised her too much rather giver her a no makeup powerfull look and she was looking perect for the character but all the credit goes to Manish Malhotra who can create beauty in simplicity.
