Solutions Middle East (SME) is working with UK-based Intuitive Business Intelligence (Intuitive) with a view to shaking-up the Middle Eastern business intelligence (BI) market. The BI market in the Middle East and India is still in its infancy but there is growing demand for dashboard solutions that deliver real-time insights. As an OpenText Platinum partner, SME is working with Intuitive to make interactive graphical dashboards available to its OpenText RightFax customers. The Intuitive Dashboards solution will also be rolled-out to all of SME’s 3500 customers, generating over $0.5 million in the first year alone. SME is launching the solution at GITEX Technology Week 2015.

Headquartered in Dubai, SME is a market leader in providing information and communication

technologies to customers in seven countries across Middle East, Africa and India.

SME recognised the growing need for a dashboards solution that sits on top of business applications to deliver key information in an easy-to-understand and interactive graphical format.

Asad Siddiq, Executive VP, Solutions Middle East, explains, “We have noticed increasing demand for BI solutions in the Middle East, especially those that can deliver key business insights in user-friendly dashboard formats. This demand is not being sufficiently met by existing providers, many of which don’t even have a Middle Eastern office, leaving a large gap in the market that we are determined to fill.”

SME chose to work with Intuitive

as it was impressed with the ease-of-use of its dashboards and how simply new dashboards can be configured. Also, as an OpenText Platinum partner, SME was given the confidence to invest in Intuitive after OpenText announced that its new fax solution, RightFax Insight, is powered by Intuitive Dashboards.

Siddiq says, “We have been very impressed with Intuitive‘s solution. It is a stable product that works effectively and is well supported. It is also incredibly easy to use. Other dashboard solutions on the market are not as user-friendly and are poorly supported.”

Roger Stocker, Sales Director, Intuitive Business Intelligence, says “Our dashboards provide valuable insight in an easy-to-understand format, giving businesses that competitive edge. When combined with SME’s twenty years’ experience of responding to the ICT needs of Middle Eastern businesses, this creates a robust offering that will shake-up the BI market.”

SME will make Intuitive Dashboards available to all its OpenText RightFax customers. The solution will also be rolled-out to the rest of its customer base including users of its SMS messaging, business intelligence (BI), customer relationship

management (CRM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

“Using the Intuitive solution with network fax server solution, RightFax, will allow users to gain better insight into what’s happening with their RightFax systems. Users will have instant access to information such as usage trends and faxing costs, allowing them to quickly identify where savings can be made”, comments Siddiq.

Customers of SME’s SMS messaging solution will be able to use Intuitive Dashboards to view a range of data, such as number of SMS messages sent, number in the queue and failed messages, allowing smarter and more cost-effective SMS usage.

The BI, CRM and ERP dashboards will also help to add value, providing detailed financial and operational insights.

Siddiq adds, “We are anticipating that the dashboards will generate strong demand from existing customers, allowing us to extend our reach into our 3,500 strong customer base. We are also expecting it to appeal to new customers, providing us with that all-important foot in the door. Within the next 12 months, we are looking to generate over $0.5 million revenue from Intuitive Dashboards alone.”
