Built in 1931 and designed by Allison & Al-lison, the Edison Building was the home to the Southern California Edison utility company and was the first all-electrically heated and cooled building in the West-ern United States.
The Art Deco designed, steel-framed building has been rebranded as The CalEdison and is located at the corner of 5th Street and Grand Avenue in DTLA’s Financial District.

Cleaning in common areas has increased in frequency to every hour, including regular disinfecting of entrance doors, restroom door handles, elevator cabs, and elevator lobbies.
Valet parking staff required to put plastic wrap over the steering wheel upon entering the vehicle, and take it off upon exiting the vehicle to return the car back to the owner.
Building personnel required to wear face coverings and gloves at all times.
