Our inaugural 5th Sundays service project will support men and women serving in the U.S. military. Service Activities for All Ages and Skill Levels including: Decorating Care Packages Sorting and Filling Care Packages Designing and Creating a Banner for Bethesda Naval Hospital for Disabled Soldiers Designing and Decorating Hand Made Cards for Soldiers Abroad and Returned Soldiers Recovering from Injuries Lunch will be provided. We will be accepting donations for care package items beginning May 1st and up through the event on May 29th. Please deposit donated items in the bins located outside the Office or in the Saegmuller Room.

Toothbrushes
Shaving Cream
Soap
Paperbacks
Magazines
DVDs
Phone Cards
Gift Cards (especially restaurant and grocery cards for visiting family members)
Suggested Specialty Items for Deployed Soldiers:
Band-Aids, Gauze Pads, First Aid Kits, Ace bandages, Icy Hot or Bengay cream
Moleskin
Tylenol, Motrin, Advil or Aspirin Packets
Eye Drops (i.e. Visine)
Nasal Spray
Multi-Vitamins
AA and AAA batteries
Movies
Hand warmer heat pads
Ballistic, Polarized Sunglasses (They get "cheap" ones free)
Tube Socks (Colors: White, Brown, Olive Green, etc.)
Tan Kevlar Boot laces
Beef Jerky
Coffee (Ground or whole; instant or drip. Ground is preferred)
Powder Drink Packets for Water Bottles (Airborne, Gatorade, Kool-Aid, Crystal Light, etc.)
Candy or caffeinated gum (to stay alert)
Baby wipes
