    What is the Metro Womens Center and the Amazing Grace Home?

    Metro Womens Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit pregnancy resource center in Crystal, MN. We exist to educate the community aboutpregnancy alternatives so life-affirming decisions can be made concerning the outcomes of pregnancies. The Amazing Grace Homeis a program of Metro Womens Center that provides safe, Christ -centered housing and services for pregnant women over age 18.The Walk/Bike will provide ongoing operating funds for on-site staff, a case manager working directly with the residents, utilities,insurance, household expenses and programming for the women.

    How far is the Amazing Grace walk or bike route?

    The event is a short one-mile, family-fun stroll or bike ride. Ask individuals to sponsor you with a single, tax-deductable gift for yourparticipation in the event. Participants may bike or walk further if they are so inclined or simply join us for a fun day at the park!

    How do I raise pledges?

    You can commit to asking one person each day. Use email, fax, social networking systems, and our on-line fundraising system.Set a personal goal of $150 to earn anAmazing Grace Walk T-shirt or raise $300 and also earn a summer-weight Hoodie sweatshirt

    What if I cant be there the day of the event or it rains?No problem! You can walk/bike on your own in your favorite park or indoor space and mail your sponsor form and pledges to our

    Crystal office by May 18th. If it rains, bring an umbrella or choose to walk a different day. Just mai l your sponsor forms and donationsto our Crystal office.

    Do I have to collect my sponsors pledges myself?

    Yes, please collect pledges at the time you request sponsorship. At registration on walk-day, turn in your pledge forms and funds youhave collected. Verify that the address section is complete for each sponsor so we can thank them. If you use the online fundraisingtools indicated below, your sponsors contribute online.

    Mail your pre-registration form by Saturday, March 29 to ensure your T-shirt and/or Hoodie will be available on Walk DT-shirts are free with $150 in pledges or by bringing a filled baby bottle to the event. Hoodies & T-shirts are free with $300 in pledges.

    The walk begins at Moraine Shelter inside the park. There is no fee to enter the park.

    Directions: From 494, take County Rd 9 (Rockford Rd) east. From 169, take County Rd 9 (Rockford Rd) west.The Clifton E. French Park entrance is on the south side of County Rd 9 (Rockford Rd).
