Defining Map Preferences

Google Map functionality provides Site Hub the ability to visually locate sites and other data on a map:

• Different images and colors are used as markers

• Site trade areas are outlined according to definitions

• Display criteria is set for per your preferences

• Associated attribute pages display for sites

Defining Map Preferences

The Map Preferences tabbed region enables you to:

• Upload images to be displayed as markers

• Select attribute pages for entities selected for a site

• Set scheduling to create spatial coordinates

Viewing Map Features

Map features enable you to more easily distinguish sites, trade areas, and other relevant information.

Trade Areas are shown as concentric circles around sites.

Launching the Geocoder

The Geocoder program enables you to set scheduling details to set spatial coordinates for viewing sites on a Google Map. Coordinates are based on the primary address of the site

Setting Up Search Criteria and Results Formats

Site Hub search and results formats enable you to:

• Create standard formats for different business processes

• Include attributes groups to increase efficiency

• Personalize criteria to reduce redundancy

Setting Up Search Criteria and Results Formats

Three steps are involved in setting search and results formats:

1. Select the context–the context is a combination of site purpose, country of location, and trade area group.

2. Select the action–you can create, copy, or update search criteria.

3. Add attributes–attribute groups assigned to the selected contexts.

Setting Up Results Formats

Results can be exported to to a spreadsheet, the results formats define attributes available for export to support specific business processes.

Different Import formats enable various attributes to be included when data is imported into Site Hub. You can:

• Import data into a spreadsheet

• Export records into Site Hub

Data can be imported using the following utilities:

• Flat File Import from spreadsheets

• Public APIs to perform row-by-row import of data

• Bulk Import such as Extract-Transform-and-Load (ETL) tools

• XML Web
