About UsWelcome! The 5-5-1 Club is a community center proudly sponsored by Lyngblomsten, promoting wellness and fun through social, cultural, and educational programs for people age 55+ working or living near the 551 zip code areas.

If you’re looking for opportunities to Thrive, Learn, Explore, and Belong, you’ve come to the right place! Everyone from the community is welcome.

We hope you have noticed our Artful Living programs being offered lately and have taken note of some of these fantastic opportunities to attend a theatre production or participate in an art class. In 2010 Lyngblomsten launched Artful Living with Lyngblomsten™, a year-round program of fine arts events and workshops with resident artists made possible through partnerships with Minnesota arts organizations.

Lyngblomsten Services, Inc. was recently awarded $25,000 in the Partners in Arts Participation Grant by the Minnesota State Arts Board. Starting July 2013, this grant gives the 5-5-1 Club the opportunity to offer affordable and accessible programs in the arts for one full year. We are grateful for the partnership with the following arts organizations: COMPAS, Northern Clay Center, Park Square Theatre, VocalEssence and the Minnesota Opera. Watch for the Artful Living logo throughout the booklet and let’s see how fun it is to be CREATIVE!
