Airport Management Professional Accreditation Programme (AMPAP)
The Toulouse Business School provides academic recognition
for AMPAP. The four mandatory AMPAP courses are recognized as equivalent to:
ESC Toulouse Aerospace MBA’s “Airport Management”
This comprises 20% of the MBA programme. Represents a 28.5% reduction in the AeMBA’s
tuition fee.

Based on the GAT Operating Plan the following activities including new tools and resources will be made available in the next triennium: Expand strategic partnership with academic institutions to work with industry leaders and scholars to ensure aviation professionals receive quality education and training to help them reach their job goals; Provide guidance on assessment results and best practices to assist current members and new TPP applicants to improve training management and face challenges in training and human resources development and implementation; Produce the Training Instructor Guide (TIG) based in the ICAO instructor competencies framework to expand train to trainer activities including on-the-job training capabilities; Implement the Training Needs Assessment (TNA) tool to support Member States in identifying and prioritizing specific training needs. TNA data will provide the basis for improving training plans and developing competency-based programmes for short- and long-term performance needs by including information from the Universal Security Audit Programme (USAP), Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme (USOAP) - Continuous Monitoring Approach (CMA), and the Monitoring and Assistance Review Board’s (MARB) significant safety concerns (SSCs) and significant security concerns (SSeCs); Disseminate the Roadmap for Aviation Training and Capacity Building addressed to civil aviation authorities for more efficient human resources development planning and implementation; Develop the Instructional System Design (ISD) tool to guide and support the implementation of the TPP methodology for course development; Implement the Post-Training Evaluation methodology to enable trainees’ organizations to measure the effectiveness of employee training and impact on job performance, business results, and return on investment (ROI); Upgrade the Aviation Training and Education Directory including a search mechanism for aviation programmes in universities and tertiary institutions. Ensure that over 3500 participants are trained through the global network of training centres using ICAO courses and training programmes. In the next triennium, the GAT office will continue to oversee the progression of the implementation and delivery of training, human resources development strategies and capacity-building in line with the No Country Left Behind initiative NCLB.
