ADCHEM Product information ELASTOSEAL P100 ONE COMPONENT POLYURETHANE SEALANT ELASTOSEAL P100 is an excellent quality, one component, and moisture curing polyurethane permanent elastomeric sealant. It is isocyanate terminated polyurethane which cross-links by the reaction of the residual isocyanate groups with atmospheric moisture. ELASTOSEAL P100 has excellent resistance to weather, heat, cryogenic conditions, water, chemicals and mechanical dynamic properties. It is designed for use in the areas of housing construction, utilities, marine, petroleum, aviation, chemical, railway and general industries. 1. CHARACTERISTIC It has excellent follow-up to movement or vibration with a good balance of modulus to elongation. It has excellent adhesiveness with most kinds of substrate material. It can be over coated with organic solvents or aqueous paint after curing. It retains excellent properties for long term due to resistance to weather, heat, climate, water or chemicals. Classified as a first class durable sealant. 2. Cautions for storage and handling ELASTOSEAL P100 should be stored in cool and dry conditions avoiding direct sunlight. ELASTOSEAL P100 is reactive with alcohol and will not cure if reacted. As such, avoid applying in alcoholic circumstances, for example, coincidental application of silicon sealant
which volatilizes alcohol in atmosphere thereby causing it to react. Safety Precaution Irritation to eyes and skin and possibly toxic through physical contact. Therefore you must take following
precautions. Avoid contact with skin. If contact with skin, wipe immediately off with a cloth soaked in thinner and wash
thoroughly under running water using soap. Avoid eye contact. In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water and contact a physician. Do not use near from fire. Do not eating or smoking in working place. Do not use or apply without application manual. Detail safety precaution is shown in MSDS.
