FADE IN:
EXT. ALLEYWAY ENTRANCE - DAYTIME
MICHAEL (17) an Asian male wearing a winter jacket and holding a black bag is running frantically through an alleyway, he stops at the end of the alleyway and leans against a brick wall while he breathes heavily.
MICHAEL
(Breathlessly)
This guy wont quit!
CUT TO:
MICHAEL takes the bag from underneath his arm and places in on the floor; he bends down and looks through the contents of the bag, then looks to the left anxiously as he hears a noise.
MICHAEL picks up the bag hoists it under his arm and runs through the alleyway exit, his getaway is cut off almost immediately as the phone in his pocket begins to ring.
EXT. MAIN FOOTPATH - DAYTIME
MICHAEL stops and takes out his phone, declines the call and then continues to run up the footpath.
CUT TO:
As he gets to the top of the street he is spotted by NICK (20) a young and aggressive looking Asian male, in a black suit and tie standing there with one arm held out with a police badge in it and in other a phone held to his ear.
NICK (Boisterously) MICHAEL ASHLEY YOUNG STOP IN THE NAME OF THE LAW
MICHAEL
(Angrily)
FUCK!
MICHAEL continues to run towards the alleyway exit, NICK pursues MICHAEL.
CUT TO:
NICK sprints after MICHAEL acrobatically jumping over the barriers.
NICK
(Shouts)
Youre under arrest
CUT TO:
The chase comes to a standstill, MICHAEL throws the bag down and tries to attack NICK, NICK swiftly ducks out of the way of the punch.
DISSOLVE TO:
INT. ALLEYWAY EXIT - DAYTIME
NICK punches MICHAEL in the jaw. Then stands over him pointing a gun at him whilst he reads Michael his rights.
NICK
(Arrogant)
I am arresting you for suspicion of terrorism. You do not have to say anything, but it may harm your defense if you do not mention when questioned on something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence.
