James Redway Furniture Makers is a small furniture company located in Woodbury Con-necticut. We have been in the business of building solid cherry, quality American furniture since 1986. We build a variety of tables, small chests, footstools, step stools and quilt racks All from solid American Black Cherry. We are well known for and specialize in the construction of small side tables. Our Christmas Table is a Con-necticut Classic.

All of our furniture is made by hand using clas-sic joinery methods. Table frames, and benches are made using double pinned mortise and tenon joinery.

The new Nantucket Wave Series is a new limited addition line from James Redway Furniture Makers. Pre-mium solid American Black FAS-grade Cherry is used to create this beautiful new line of furniture.

The Wave Series is characterized by the tables' graceful wave skirts that lighten up the table design as it moves under the hand-chamfer table top like a gentle swell under the prow of a boat.

Each table is constructed using the same time-tested mortise and tenon joinery and each is finished with five coats of Tung and Teak Oils. All pieces are signed, numbered, dated, and branded with our hallmark

The website contains the most up-to-date information. In-stock orders can be shipped within 1 business day after ordering. Furniture that is not in stock is usually shipped 4 to 6 weeks after ordering depending on the piece. Rush orders are considered.

Shipping charges will be the exact UPS charges from our workshop to your home. Larger pieces are shipped motor freight collect. There is also a crating charge for larger pieces.

Payment:

We accept Mastercard Visa American Express, Discover, checks or money orders. For custom furni-ture, a 50% deposit is required upon ordering, and the balance is paid when the item has been made. Catalog items paid by credit card are not charged until the day the piece is actually made and before the finishing process. The piece is then shipped about 5 days after.
