A. God has, at various times, worked miracles to feed His people.

• God sent manna from heaven to meet the daily needs of Israel

• God sent quail so they could have meat

• Elijah and the widow of Zarepath, whose barrel of meal never ran empty.

B. There were many methods available to the Son of God to feed these folks.

We need to work like everything depends on us; realize that everything depends on God and be content with what we have.

C. Christ displays another characteristic of God in the feeding by using an organized method to distribute the food.

A. The people were willing to accept Him even to the point of forcing Him to be king.

B. Many people today are just the same.…they are not willing to identify with the suffering

Messiah and therefore miss eternal life.

C. The last time He was on earth He was lowly and He suffered.
