So, here are 30 high-paying tech skills as per thesurvey.

PaaS or "Platform as a Service" is a type of cloudcomputing technology. It hosts everything that adeveloper needs to write an app. These apps oncewritten, would live on PaaS cloud.

PaaS is a huge trend in app development rightnow, with every big tech vendor, every hostingcompany, and every maker of app developmenttools looking for game in the PaaS market.

Cassandra is a free and open source NoSQL database.

It's a kind of database that can handle and store data of different types and sizes of data and it'sincreasingly the go-to database for mobile and cloud applications. Several IT companies includingApple and Netflix use Cassandra.

Pay for Cassandra-associated jobs has climbed 14.5% over last year, Dice says.

Businesses often want to write custom apps that make use of the data stored in SAP. Developersalso write commercial apps for SAP.

Pay for ABAP-associated jobs jumped by 24% over the last year, reveals Dice survey.

Though the salary for R-associated jobs has not seen a huge jump over the last year, the skill still ismuch in demand as the job listings on Dice show.
