For example, organic ingredients are always the best. Whenever possible, choose free-range, hormone- and antibiotic-free, fresh, and wild meats, poultry, eggs, and fish. Don’t fear salt, but do use an unrefined sea salt or, preferably, Celtic sea salt. Water should be pure and filtered. And the only breads you should consume should be made from organic sprouted whole grains.

Hot Apple Cider - 4 apples - 5 C water - 4 packets Stevia - 1 tsp cinnamon

(option) can add cloves or pumpkin spices too Place 4 sliced apples in a saucepan and cover with water. Put sweetener, cinnamon, vanilla and any other spices you like. Simmer over medium heat for 30-40 minutes, or until apples are soft. Remove apples and divide into 4 baggies to use as a fruit snack. Serve the cider in small mug. Store remaining cider in fridge

and drink up to 1 cup a day.

Iced Fruity Green Tea - Boil 1 cup of water - Soak 5 green tea bags for 3-5 minutes (3 pomegranate-

raspberry and 2 mangosteen or mix and match) - Pour into 2-quarter pitcher and fill with water - Add juice of 2 lemons (about 1/3 to ½ cup) - Add 4-5 droppers full of stevia (plain or flavored, we

like apricot nectar, Valencia orange, and lemon) - Serve Cold

Strawberry Sorbet When off protocol I’ll add banana or fresh pineapple, but it’s just as good without. The kids love this one, too!

- Allotted amount of strawberries - Juice of 1 lemon - sugar substitute (as needed) - Water (if needed)

1) Freeze fresh strawberries about 1 hour. 2) Blend fresh frozen strawberries, lemon juice & sugar

substitute in blender until very well blended. 3) You can serve immediately or place in freezer to allow it

to firm up even further.

Hcg baked apple

Ingredients

- 1 large Gala Apple - 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon - 1/4 tsp Agave Nectar

Directions

Core the apple, then cut into quarters. Place the apple on a sheet of foil, then sprinkle the cinnamon and agave over the top. Wrap the foil together to enclose the apple inside. Place on a ceramic or glass-baking dish. Bake at 350ºF for 15 minutes or until the apple is tender.

HCG Recipe Strawberry Vinaigrette

Ingredients

- Strawberries - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon lemon juice - Stevia to taste - Dash of salt - Dash of cayenne (optional) - Fresh ground black pepper to taste - Stevia to taste

Directions - Combine all ingredients in food processor. Puree until smooth. Pour over - Fresh Arugala or green salad. Garnish with sliced strawberries and freshly - Ground black pepper. Variations: use as a marinade or sauce

for chicken.

Makes 1 serving (1 fruit)

4 (c) Broths And Dressings

Chicken Broth Base

- 6 100 gram pieces of chicken - 9 cups water - 1 tsp of each: garlic powder, onion salt, celery salt, poultry seasoning and pepper - 1 Tbsp sea salt

Combine ingredients in soup pot and cook until chicken is done. About 35 minutes. Take chicken out and save for recipes. Freeze some in ice cube trays for sautéing vegetables.

Vegetable Beef Soup Broth

HCG Veggie/Beef Soup stock - add 100 grams of beef

Ingredients

- 100 grams celery - 2 cups beef broth - 1/2 cup onion chopped - 1 clove garlic - 1 tbsp bay leaf - 1/8 teaspoon dried basil

- 1/8 teaspoon fresh or dried oregano - 1 pinch of thyme - 1 pinch of paprika - 1 pinch of chili powder

- 1 Salt and pepper to taste

Directions Combine onion, garlic and spices with beef broth. Add celery and diced beef. Simmer for 20-30 minutes.

HONEY-LIME DRESSING

- ¼ c. fresh squeezed limejuice - ¼ c. red wine vinegar - 2 T. sugar free honey - 2 T. fresh cilantro, finely chopped - 2 cloves garlic, minced

Mix all ingredients in a small bowl until combined. Refrigerate. Also makes a great marinade for chicken and fish.

Makes approx. ¾ cup; serving size is 2 tablespoons Calories: 31 per serving Fat: 0g.

SWEET & SOUR RED CABBAGE

- 1 lrg. head red cabbage, chopped - 1 med. apple, cored and grated - 1 med. onion, slivered - 3 T. red wine vinegar - 1 pkt. Splenda or other sugar substitute - ¼ t. cinnamon & 1 clove garlic, minced - Salt and pepper to taste - Preheat oven to 300 degree

Lightly mist a 9”x13” baking dish with olive oil pan spray. Place all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix well. Transfer cabbage mixture to prepared baking dish and cover. Bake for 2-2 ½ hours, stirring once or twice, until cabbage is tender. Makes 4 servings of approx. 1½ cups each Calories: 60 per serving Fat: 0g.

Chicken Vegetable Soup

6 cups of Chicken Broth Base (see recipe)

- 3 100 grams of cooked chopped chicken - 3 stalks of chopped celery

- 1 whole sweet onion chopped - 2 handfuls of chopped cabbage - 2 medium sized chopped tomatoes (optional)

Directions Combine and bring to a boil. Turn heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes or until vegetable are tender adding cabbage for the last 10 minutes.

Strawberry Chicken Salad

Dressing

- 2 T. fresh squeezed orange juice - 2 T. fresh squeezed lemon juice - 1-2 pkts. Splenda or other sugar substitute

Combine ingredients well. Chill until serving.

Salad

- ¼ c. soy sauce - 2 T. fresh squeezed orange juice - 1 clove garlic, minced - 2 green onions, thinly sliced - ½ lb. chicken breast

- 4 c. raw spinach and 1 c. sliced strawberries - ¼ med. red onion sliced, rings separated

In a gallon size ziplock bag combine, soy sauce, green onions, 2 T. orange juice and garlic. Add chicken and seal bag. Marinate in refrigerator for2-24 hours, turning occasionally.

Remove Chicken from bag and reserve marinade. Grill or broil chicken for 8-10 minutes turning once and Brushing with marinade. Cook until chicken is tender and no longer pink. Cool chicken slightly. Place spinach, 2 c. each onto serving plates. Slice chicken and place on top of spinach, top with sliced strawberries and red onion rings. Shake dressing and drizzle evenly over two salads. Makes 2 Servings - Calories: 195 per serving Fat: 3g.

Taco Salad

- 2 cups of chopped romaine lettuce - 100 grams of lean ground beef - ½ tsp garlic salt - ¼ tsp of chili seasoning - crunched up melba toast

* Saute ground beef and spices. Sprinkle on top of lettuce and top with crumble melba toast.

Chicken Egg Drop Soup

- 1 lb. chicken breast, cooked and shredded - 8 c. cabbage, shredded - 1 small zucchini, grated or 2 c. spinach - 1 med. onion, chopped - 1 clove garlic, minced - 8 c. chicken broth - 2 egg whites, lightly beaten - ¼ c. soy sauce - ¼ t, white pepper - Salt to taste

Add broth, soy sauce, white pepper and salt to a large stock pot. Bring to a boil over medium- high heat. Slowly drizzle egg whites into broth; stirring constantly in a figure 8 motion. Add cabbage, zucchini, onion, and garlic. Reduce heat and simmer until cabbage is tender. Add cooked chicken during last few minutes of cooking, to heat through. Makes 4 servings of 3 cups each.

Cabbage & Shrimp Soup

- 2 cups of organic, boxed vegetable stock or 2 cups of your own stock or, for less salt use one cup stock and one cup water Heat in a pan on the stove.

- Add 8 oz. of shredded green cabbage.

Cook/boil for a few minutes until the cabbage becomes soft but still crisp. - Add 3.5 oz. of shrimp, whole or cut into pieces

Fresh ground black pepper

a little bit of minced garlic whatever spices you want to add to suit your taste (get into the spice rack and experiment!) Cook just a few minutes until the shrimp is done.

Don't cook shrimp very long or it will over cook.

- Makes a large bowl for one meal or you can split this into a meal and a snack.

Note: If you are salt sensitive, the sodium in the canned or

boxed chicken stock may make you retain water.

4 (e) Entrees

Meat In Tomato Sauce

- 100 g of lean hamburger, chicken, shrimp, fish (or whatever meat you would like to eat) - 1 large or 2 small tomatoes - 1/4 tsp. of garlic salt - 1/4 tsp. onion salt

- 1/4 tsp. Italian Seasoning (make sure it has 0 carbs)

First, slice up your tomato(es) and put them into a sauce pan to sau-tee on medium for about 5 minutes. While they are being heated, occasionally smash the tomatoes with a spoon. While the tomatoes are heating, put your meat on the George Foreman or grill it some-how. When your tomatoes are heated and soft, they should have the consistency of THICK spaghetti sauce (or what ever consistency you prefer). After the hamburger is properly cooked, mix it together with the tomatoes. Add in your spices, stir, and enjoy! What a tasty treat!

Orange Grilled Chicken with herbs

- 1 lb. boneless chicken breast, skin attached - 2 cloves garlic, minced - ¾ t. orange zest - ¼ t. fresh thyme, minced - ¼ t. fresh rosemary, minced - Fresh ground pepper to taste - ½ c. fresh squeezed orange juice - ¼ c. vinegar - 2 t. Worcestershire sauce - Preheat grill to medium-high.

Combine first 5 ingredients in a small bowl. Take each chicken breast and slip your fingers between the skin and flesh of the chicken, leaving the skin attached. Slide some of the herb mixture under the skin of each breast, pulling the skin back over when fin-ished. Mix orange juice, vinegar, and Worcestershire in a small bowl. Grill chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side, turning once and basting with orange juice mixture. Cook until chicken is tender and no longer pink. Remove skin before eating.

Makes 4 servings, Calories: 174 per serving Fat: 3.1g.

Shrimp Stuffed Tomato

- 1 lb. cooked salad shrimp - 8 green onions, thinly sliced - 1 stalk celery, finely chopped - 1 clove garlic, minced - 1 t. Cajun or Blackened Seasoning - ¼ c. fat free mayonnaise - 1 ½ t. Worcestershire sauce - 1 head romaine lettuce, Chopped - 4 Med. tomatoes - 2 med. lemons, halved

Place first 7 ingredients into a medium bowl and stir well to combine.

Refrigerate until serving. Core the tomatoes and cut each into 8 sec-tions, leaving the sections connected at the bottom. Divide the lettuce among 4 serving plates and top each with a tomato, splaying out the sections slightly. Stuff each tomato with equal amounts of shrimp salad.

Serve with a lemon half to be squeezed over top.

Makes 4 servings Calories: 135 per serving Fat: 0.5g.

GARLIC SHRIMP

- 1 lb. raw shrimp, peeled and deveined - 3 cloves garlic, minced - 1 (14.5oz.) can crushed tomatoes - 1 med. lemon, juiced - 1 pkt. Splenda or other sugar substitute - 1 T. dried parsley

Salt and pepper to taste. Place shrimp in a large bowl with the garlic, and salt and pepper. Toss well to mix.

Heat a large nonstick skittle over medium-high heat. Lightly mist with olive oil pan spray.

Add the shrimp and garlic, and stir for 2 minutes, or until shrimp are pink.

Reduce heat to medium; - add the crushed tomatoes, lemon juice, Splenda, and dried parsley. Cook, stirring, for 3-4 minutes and heated through.

Makes 4 servings Calories: 102 per serving Fat: 1g.

Seafood Gumbo

- 100 grams of seafood (any allowable combo) - 1 chopped garlic clove - 2 large chopped Roma tomatoes - ¼ tsp. onion salt. – ¼ tsp. Creole seasoning - dash of garlic powder, celery salt, cayenne pepper. - 1-2 packets of stevia

* Sauté seafood with chopped garlic or high heat until browned. Add remaining ingredients and simmer on low for 15 minutes.

BROILED CINNAMON GRAPEFRUIT

- 1 grapefruit - Cinnamon, to taste (optional) and Sugar substitute (as needed) - Peel grapefruit & remove skin from each section. - Toss the sections of grapefruit with cinnamon and sugar substi-tute. - Broil until cinnamon & sugar substitute caramelize. - Reminder - this makes 2 fruit servings.

You can always broil 1/2 grapefruit at a time and force some

other family member to eat the other half. :)

Grapefruit tastes wonderful broiled.

4 (f) Desserts

Choco Berry Smoothie

• 3/4 c milk • 25-30 blueberries (I use frozen) • 1 t sugar free chocolate syrup • handful of ice

Add all ingredients to blender. Blend until reaches desired consis-tency. Add more milk, if necessary, serve.

Pie Crust

• 6 oz pecan pcs • 2 oz walnut pcs • 2-4 T butter • 2 T zsweet

In food processor, combine all ingredients and pulse until reaches desired consistency. Press down into 9" pie dish.

TIP: This crust works for all sorts of pies, cheesecakes, or

even as the 'crisp' in apple crisps.

If wanting to bake separately such as for a pudding pie, simply bake @ 350 for 10 mins, until lightly browned. Cool completely before filling.

Pumpkin Pie

• 1 can pumpkin (be sure it's 100% pumpkin and not pie mix) • 2 eggs • 1 can evaporated milk

• 1 c zsweet • 1 t cinnamon • 1/2 t sea salt • 1/2 t nutmeg • 1/4 t ginger • 1/4 t cloves • Unbaked pie crust 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. 2. Combine all ingredients and pour into crust. 3. Bake 15 mins. 4. Reduce heat to 350 & bake 45 mins. 5. Cool completely before serving.

TIP: You can make this pie completely crustless, by pouring into a PAM sprayed pie dish and following the same cooking instructions

Apple Delicious

- 4 apples - 4 packets of truvia or stevia - 1 tsp. of cinnamon - 2 cups of water

1 tsp of vanilla

Place 4 apples in a baking dish. Pour the water over top. Sprinkle sweetener and cinnamon over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for an hour. Take out of oven and add vanilla to the liquid and stir. Take apples out and pour sweetened water mixture over apple and enjoy!

Strawberry / Orange Smoothie - “FAVORITE”

- 1 cup of frozen or fresh strawberries - ½ orange or 1/3 cup of real orange juice (not from concentrate) - ¾ cup of crushed ice - Stevia flavor of choice (1/2 dropper full or 1 packet) - (optional) 1 handful of frozen spinach leaves (you won’t even

be able to taste these)

* Blend in blender till smooth

Radish Salad: (Tastes to my husband like a tangy coleslaw)

- Thinly chopped/sliced radishes - 1/2 ounce lemon juice - 1 Tbsp. minced onion - 1-2 t aminos (I didn't have these, so I did the recipe w/o it) - Salt and pepper to taste - Mix all ingredients in baggie, let marinate for a few

minutes, enjoy!

Strawberry Smoothie:

- Handful of chopped strawberries - 1-2 stevia single packs - Ice - Water (for dilution) - Blend in blender to desired consistency.

Fajita Chicken Soup:

- 100 g. grilled chicken - 1 tomato, chopped - 1/4 pack of fajita seasoning (no sugar in ingredients!!) and I have used part of chili pack - instead of fajita! - 1 tbsp. dry parsley - 1 tbsp. dry minced garlic - 1 tbsp. dry minced onions - Stew your tomatoes in water; mush them with a fork to squeeze all the juice and "meat" from it.
