On February 19, 1982 you recorded 9994.75 aa expenditure credita under Section 77(19) of the Mining Act on mining claim* 5577494, -95, 605308 and 605309. Tour data waa forwarded to thia office for approval.

I regret to inform you that Section 77(19) credita may only be allowed for the money yon spent on baring aasaya made. The remainder of the work which I presume waa in digging a pit or trench must be reported aa """ n1 labour or uae of mechanical equipment under Sections 77(18) and 77(8 ) respectively.

The credita given under Section 77(8) are double that of Section 77(18) which is meant to compensate for the coat of renting equipment or use of explosivea.

I suggest therefore that you consult the Mining Recorder at Sudbury and endeavour to submit new report of work forma to replace those that you filed on February 19, 1982 for drilling and blasting expenses.

Aa I mentioned, credita may be allowed for your assay coats. Tou must, however, forward to ma in duplicate, the Certificates of Analysis from the laboratory plua a detailed map ahowing where each sample waa taken from the mining claims with sample numbers corresponding to the numbers on the eertifieataa.

Tou must also provide receipts for the aaaay coata. I note tht the invoices; that you supplied are for Horthgata Explorations Ltd. It will be necessary for you to provide an explanation aa to who actually spent the money and how they are connected with your claims.

This is further to your letter of 1983.03.02, addressed to Mr. Thomas Sheppard of Garson, Ontario, with reference to supplying data on the above subject claims.

Mr. Fred Delabbio, acting on behalf of Mr. Sheppard, was into our office before your due date of March 16th in an attempt to put the Reports of Work in order and supply us with the required data.

It appears that Reports of Work were filed for "Mechanical" credits, to cover the Expeniture credits that was reported on Report //82-25 (File S.577495) and 082-26 (File S.605308). We have therefore cancelled the credits (12.6 and 7.5) recorded as Expenditures on February 19, 1982.

Also, Mr. Delabbio has supplied us with the documentation you requested to cover their Assaying Costs, as reported to Report #82-27 (4 claims @ 11.5 days ea.), and I am enclosing same herewith.
