FORMED
None of us expected to finish our Faith Formation year with
distance learning from home. A big thank you to the parents
who picked up their students books and worked with them to
complete their assignments.
A thank you as well to all the volunteers that are such a big part
of the program. Our hall monitors, Kelli Blessing, Sheri Sato and
Amy Baerenwald and our parking lot monitor Angela Simons.
Let’s not forget our favorite popcorn popper, Mark Schmalz,
who came faithfully every week to see that the kids had their
customary popcorn after class. They were truly a gift on
Wednesday nights. Of course gratitude is in line for all the
catechists who planned, prepared and taught every week. They
are a very dedicated group of disciples who have touched many
hearts.
Amy Liebergen, Karol Siebers, Sally Schuerer, Amy Albedyll, Amy
Menchl, Debbie Olson, Pam Zutel-Heidingsfelder, Jacque
Smedberg, Mike Anderson, Carrie Paine, Bryan Paine, Leo
Hoffmann and Mark Vander Linden.
And finally, thank you to Crista Backes who was the Faith
Formation assistant. She was always present to everyone. She
was the major reason things ran smoothly. Crista did everything
with the smile and the heart of Jesus. She is going back to
being a stay at home mom with the end of our current year.
Thank you Crista for all you did for Sacred Heart.
