There will be _NO _ dissing of the moderator of this Radio Room - onany night - for anyreason!

This is considered 'extreme mutiny' of the worst kind! And no way - doesour fine RR moderator deserve such treatment!

You may have guessed - I am referring to last nite's fiasco in the RadioRoom thread - and specifically to FahvahKarol's postings.Sorry I was not around when it was going down!

And yes - there is a consequence - for such unwarranted and aggregiousbehavior. We have never had to think about this before - but havedecided Faka is suspended for 3 days - and that's that. He has been sentan email notice - earlier today - and has not yet responded.

I hope that he will understand this - and return to post again - with adifferent attitude.

So - sorry to interrupt your regular programming with this business -but wanted y'all to know - up front - what has gone down.

One day last summer I was cutting the lawn in the backyard. As I havea large backyard I got to goofing around with the mower and theweedeater. After 45 or 50 minutes I had replicated a pretty neatrendition of a crop circle. It was apparently good enough to attract theattention of the channel 7 news chopper pilot. He actually circled backand took a second look....

Yeah, but, HE thought it was funny, and was doing it for what HEthought was entertainment value...his impulses, in this regard, were



innocent.

I agree about the other stuff, but that was never an issue before.

Vulgarity is as vulgarity does. There is a fine tradition of literaryvulgarity in this country.

Before I fall asleep here again, a couple points. There is a differencebetween vulgarity and porn. Some of those posts were obviously tryingto egg on Spike by his vulgar posts. That was where I felt he crossed theline.

Was anyone offended? Yes, by the end with the pussy word posts, Iwas. did he say thinks really inappropriate to Spike...yes he did.

I honestly think Fava had a bad night, we all do. That does not excusehis behavior. And toward the end of the night, his posts were not leaningtoward entertaining...but making others uncomfortable. Calling peoplenames, and using vulgar terms to see how far he could go.

ElK', I do notice that it could be (considered) "upside down". There isa visual polarity that makes it look like a photo negative. You canovercome this by twisting over, or standing on your head. Turningyour monitor upside-down could also work.

I just went and watched the "ghost crossing a road" video at Art'ssite. Oh please, what a crock. It is a bug splat on the windshield!!Look at the beginning of the video: the camera focus is distant, thenit pulls in to align on the windshield. For a split-second, it comes intosharp clarity, then the focus goes distant again. It's a camera trick &a dirty windshield- nothing more.

I have to agree with you Elk, I have looked at a lot of crop circlepictures and there is something different about this one.

Over the years there have been a number of self admitted humanhoax circles and it is usually fairly easy to tell the difference betweena human made circle and the real deal. One of those ways to tell isthe actual geometry of the circle.

For instance, if you take a look at the circle with the 409 circles withinit, the complete circle is geometrically accurate which considering thetimeframe in which it appeared should make it obvious that it couldn'thave been created by two old men with a board and ropes.



This accuracy of the geometry of a crop circle is one of the mainarguments that can be made to verify the authenticity of a particularcircle and as I look at this new face image I believe it is the nongeometric shape, particularly the sides, which makes me raise myeyebrows...

One large circle surrounded by five small ones. All connected by a"swirl"...I got real creative with the weedeater. I thought it lookedpretty spiffy! (It also proved that I have far too much spare time...)
