SD Chapter Membership Status (as of 09/30/09): 852 members, 6 gains from 08/31/09 7 “Drops”: 1 ENS, 3 O4, 1 O5, 1 O6, 1 O6 (Ret) New to the Area (11): 1 E8, 7 ENS, 1 O3, 1 O4 (Ret), 1 Civ“Expiring Memberships” (“next” three months):

Misc: School Ship Concept: SNA and NBSD propose starting a recurring Professional Development "School Ship" event for the surface community. This event would be open to all the waterfront and SNA Members (Active and Retired, who have a great interest in continued education of our ships). The focus would be on educating our surface community about our surface platform capabilities.
