C.2. TEAM MANAGERS INFORMATIONC.2.1. Sport Information CentreThe Sports Information Centre is located ground floor of the Boathouse 4Opening hours: all times during which the venue is officially open.

C.3. GENERAL INFORMATIONC.3.1 Official Opening of the Regatta VenueThe rowing course is officially open for training on Sunday, 2nd May 2021.

C.3.2 Venue Opening TimeOn Training days from 08:00 to 16:00 hrs.On Racing days from 08:00 to 16:00 hrs.

C.3.3 Course Opening TimeOn Training days from 08:00 to 15:30 hrs.On Racing days from 08:00 until 30 minutes before the first start / 30 minutes after last race until 15:30hrs.

C.3.4 Practice StartsTeams will be able to join practice starts on Tuesday, 4th May from 12:00 to 13:00hrs

C.3.5 Distribution of start and results lists and other important information.Every Information will be found in whiteboard at the Sports Information Centre. Teams can also get information on the OC Website and the event WhatsApp Group.

C.3.6 Team Managers Meetings and The DrawTeam Managers Meeting and The DrawThe Team Managers Meeting & Draw will take place at 14:30hrs remotely. The presence of all Team Managers is mandatory.

IMPORTANT:Team Managers are requested to check the entry forms that are submit-ted to them upon their arrival. If there are changes in the crews or differ-ences in the spelling of the names, they must complete Crew Change Forms and submit them immediately to the OC.

Team Managers MeetingsThe Team Managers Meetings on 5th and 6th of May will be held online. Time of the meeting will be announced later.

D.2 TRAFFIC RULES (Racing)See Appendix IV.

D.3 CONTROL COMMISSIONThe Control Commission ⓫ is located between the incoming and outgo-ing pontoons.

D.3.1 Crew Changes On arrival, Team Managers will receive a list of their crews as entered. In case of any changes before the Draw in the crew composition, seating order or errors in spelling, the Crew Change. For changes after the Draw, need to submit to IF Office. ⓮The forms must be signed by the team manager, by the responsible WR representative and, if for medical reasons, by the WR Regatta Doctor.

D.3.2 Crew photosTeam managers will be notified of the athletes that have not yet had their photographs taken for the World Rowing athlete database. These ath-letes should have their passport style photograph with a light background emailed to [email protected] by 12:00hrs on the day of the Draw.

D.3.3 Bow NumbersThe bow numbers will be distributed to the crews at the distribution desk in front of Control Commission and will be collected on the incoming pontoon.

TRAINING AND COMPETITIONS ON THE COURSED.

D.3.4 GPS DevicesThe GPS devices will not be provided for this regatta.

D.3.5 Boat WeighingBoat weighing will be located in the Boathouse 3.A test scale will be available from Sunday, 2nd May and will be open at all times that the venue is open, except during racing.

D.3.6 Athlete WeighingAthlete Weighing will be located in the Boathouse 2. A test scale will be available from Sunday, 2nd May and is available during all the official opening hours of the course. Athletes do not need to present their pass-ports at official weigh-in.

E.1 BOAT STORAGEThe boat racks are situated in the Boat-house area ⓾ The Organising Commit-tee will assign boat racks for all boats. Please respect the rack allocation.Teams are responsible to make sure that their boats are safely tied to the racks at all times and are in no-risk of being dam-aged due to adverse weather conditions.The racks are assigned by nation where possible to limit the interaction of ath-letes from different teams. Respect the signs and assignments. Racks cannot be moved.

E.2 LAUNCH PONTOONSThere are two out-going and two in-com-ing pontoon. Teams must use the launch pontoons for going OUT on the water and coming IN as shown on the traffic rules map.

E.3 BOAT REPAIRBoat builders will be located in the boat repair area which is in front of the boat-house.

E.4 BOAT WASHINGThe boat washing area is in front of the Boathouse. No chemical detergents or no other substance causing environmen-tal pollution should be used during boat washing.

TEAM FACILITIES AND SERVICESE. E.5 ERGOMETERSErgometers for training and warming up or cooling down will be provided at the 1st floor of the Boathouse ㉙.

E.6 CHANGING ROOMSThe changing rooms ㉗ are situated on the ground floor of the Boat-house.

E.7 SANITARY FACILITIESThe showers and toilets are located next to the changing rooms in the Boathouse. Teams are requested to keep the facilities tidy and clean.

E.8 REST AREATeam Rest Area will be assigned nations by nations. Team Rest Areas are 5 in the 1st floor of the Boathouse or Team Tents behind the Boathouse.

E.9 ATHLETE BAG STORAGEAll teams can leave luggage in the Team Bag Storage ㉛ in the Sports Information. Please note the OC is not responsible for any loss or damage of luggage. It is also possible to collect “lost and found” items there.

E.10. COACHES AND ATHLETE VIEWINGDuring training coaches may cycle on the Television Road (please see the venue map.) along the course.Please note: No coaches will be allowed to cycle during racing.Athletes and coaches can view the races from the Athlete Seat ㉚.

E.11. BIKE RENTALThere is a Bike rental facility 8 provided in the Sports Information. To avoid heavy traffic on the road, each MF is provided with 2 bikes at max.

E.12. LIABILITYParticipants are responsible for acquiring insurance for equipment and persons including compensation for COVID19. The OC shall not be re-sponsible for any damages/losses/illness during teams’ stay in Japan.

F.3 RESCUE AND SAFETYThere will be an on-water rescue team in charge of on-water rescue during the official opening hours of the regatta course.

F.4 ANTI-DOPING CONTROLThe Doping Control Station ⓯ is located at the Grand floor the Boat-house. All anti-doping control tests will be conducted in accordance with WADA and WR requirements.For information about Anti-Doping controls and procedures, please refer to the World Anti-Doping Code (available at www.wada-ama.org), the WR Rule Book (or at www.worldrowing.com) and the most current list of Prohibited Substances and Methods (available at www.wada-ama.org ).

F.1. MEDICAL CENTREAthlete Medical centre ⓭ is located at the ground floor of the Boathouse. It will start operating from Sunday, 2nd May. Centre will be open during the official venue opening hours.The Centre will provide initial assessment and treatment for injuries and illness.

F.2. FIRST AID SERVICE & AMBULANCE, LOCAL HOSPITALA first aid service will be provided in the Athlete Medical Centre.An ambulance will be on standby in the boat park area for emergencies.Local hospital : Juntendo Hospital 3-1-3 Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo 113-8431 tel. +81 3 3813-3111 The hospital is located 15 km from the venue.

G.2 TRANSPORTATION OF BOATS AND BOAT TRAILERS, PARK-ING ARRANGEMENTS

G.2.1 Boat TrailersBoat trailers must be unloaded as soon as they arrive at the Boat Trailers & Container Storage Area, OC designated.Containers must be unpacked from Sunday 2nd May at 8:00hrs. Boats are placed on the assigned boat racks.Trailers can be moved and loaded 30 minutes after the finish of the last race on Friday, 7th May and Monday, 10th May.Any trailer and/or container movement in and out of the venue needs to be coordinated with the OC.

G.1 TRANSPORTATION ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE TEAMSG.1.1 General Information, Transportation OfficeThe Transportation Office 7 is located at the Parking Area. The office will start operating on Sunday, 2nd May and will be open all the times that the venue is officially open every day until 16:00hrs. The Team Managers must submit their transport request form for the following day to the Ho-tel information desk based on the official bus schedule service.

G.1.2 Transportation from/to the Airport to/from the HotelThe OC will provide the transportation from/to the Haneda/Narita Airport for all teams, which have booked their accommodation through the Orga-nizing Committee. The travel time from Haneda Airport to the hotel is about 30 minutes, and from Narita Airport it is about 1.5 hours.

G.1.3 Transportation between the Hotel and the Regatta VenueThe official shuttle bus between the hotels and regatta venue will operate from Sunday, 2nd May to Saturday, 7th May. Transportation is free of charge only for teams and officials which have booked accommodation through the organizing committee.Shuttle Bus Time Table will be informed at the Hotel tour desk and Trans-portation office.Teams need to book the next day’s round-trip transportation at the Hotel tour desk each day by 18:30 the day before.

G.1.4 Shuttle Bus drop off at the VenueThe Shuttle Bus Drop off is located in the Parking Area. The last bus leaves according a prearranged schedule.

Please be advised that the tap water is drinkable so that athletes can re-fill their own water bottles.

FOOD FACILITIES AND SER-VICESI.

All reservations must be made through the OC. The teams that have spe-cial requirements for their accommodation are encouraged to state their requests in writing to the OC. The OC will do everything possible to meet their needs. Accommodation Contact:[email protected]

The Organizing Committee does not take any responsibility for any extra services of the hotels, like mini bar, telephone, parking, laundry, etc. These costs are to be paid directly to the hotel.
