Requirements for admission to Master`s DegreeProgram (the academic year 2020-2021):

Applicants who have completed the educational programs of higher education (bachelor's degree) are admitted to the Master's degree program;

Admission of candidates to the Master's degree program is carried out on a competitive basis according to the results of complex testing ( further-CT).

Admission of foreigners to the Master's degree program carried out on a paid basis after the interview results;

The documents on education issued by foreign educational organizations arerecognized or nostrified in the way established by the legislation according to the Rules of recognition and nostrification of documents on education approved by the order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan from January 10, 2008 №8 (registered in the Register of State Registration of Regulatory Acts under № 5135);

The submission of applications for Master's degree program is carried out by Admissions Committee of Satbayev University through the information system from June 15, 2020 to July 15, 2020;

A complex testing for the Master's degree program is conducted from August 1, 2020 to August 15, 2020;

Enrollment - until August 28, 2020.

The certificate is issued according to the results of the CT.

The retaking of a CT in the year of their passing is not allowed.

After the confirmation of operator, you have to provide the following documents to the Admissions Office of Satbayev University:

Application (in arbitrary form);The document on higher education (original, when submitting documents to the AdmissionsOffice);A copy of the identity document;A personal sheet on personnel records and a document confirming the employment activity (for applicants with work experience);The list of scientific and methodological works (if exists);Six photos 3x4 centimeters in size;Medical certificate of Form 086-U;

An international certificate confirming knowledge of a foreign language in accordance with the common European competencies (standards) of foreign language proficiency. (valid certificate);*

* Applicants, who have one of the international certificates confirming the knowledge of a foreign language in accordance with the common European competencies (standards) of foreign language proficiency are exempt from the foreign language test of the CT for the Master's degree program in the following languages;*

Applicants with certificates of passing the test in a foreign language count 50 points.

Along with copies of the documents mentioned in this paragraph, their originals are provided for verification in the presence of the applicant. After verification, the original documents shall be returned.

It is mandatory to provide full list of documents, mentioned in this point.

CT (complex testing) is conducted by the National Testing Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the points determined by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - MES RK).

Admission to the Master`s Degree

The enrollment of applicants to the Master’s Degree Program on a paid basis is carried out according to the results of the CT in accordance with the Scale of the 150-point rating system for CT in the Masters Degree with the Kazakh or Russian language of instruction according to Appendix 1:

at least 50 points, while in a foreign language - at least 25 points, according to the profile of the group of educational programs:

with the choice of one correct answer - at least 7 points, with the choice of one or more correct answers - at least 7 points, in the test for determining readiness for learning - at least 7 points.

Duration of the complex testing – 3 hours 55 minutes (maximum).
