Early 90’s• Two engineers, Jeff Condon and Mark Pruss, work together to create software programs that design better optics. These optics yield 20% more efficient light distribution over competitors lighting for customers in the automotive industry.

2004• Jeff and Mark establish TecNiq.• Mission is to design and produce better LED lighting solutions than currently on the market.• Every light designed meets or exceeds government standards.• Along with better design, TecNiq commits to making their LED lighting solutions in the United States.• From day one, TecNiq has kept their pricing fair and competitive, even with cheaper quality, overseas imports.

2006• TecNiq moves into their first dedicated (10k sq-ft) building in Illinois.

2012• TecNiq moves to Richland, Mi to further their production capabilities and grow their manufacturing footprint.• TecNiq designs highly successful M50 Water Dragon, the brightest surface mounted LED underwater light in the business.

2016• TecNiq builds all new facility in Galesburg, Mi with a 105k sq-ft footprint. This move allows TecNiq to manufacture more lights in the US, and grow the company towards the future.

2019• Continuing off of their success, TecNiq invests heavily in production capabilities, adding 5 injection molding machines, there own PCB Assembly line, and additional staffing to support a near 100% vertically integrated company.
