MILWAUKEE AREA USBC

2019 MIXED TRIOS TOURNAMENT

1. ELIGIBILITY

The tournament is open to all USBC members. If a bowler is not a member of the Milwaukee Area USBC,

then a $10 local membership must be paid.

Bowlers will be allowed to bowl an unlimited number of times, but not with the same two partners.

Each team must consist of at least one male and one female.

2. TOURNAMENT AVERAGES

a. Averages used for tournament eligibility apply in this order: 1) Highest USBC league average from the

2018-19 winter season for 21 games or more. (Leagues designated as Sport/Challenge will be adjusted

using the USBC Average Adjustment Scale – if it is the only average available.) 2) Highest USBC league

average from 2019 spring/summer season for 21 games or more. 3) Highest USBC league average from

the 2017-18 winter season for 21 games or more. 4) Highest current USBC league average for 12 games

or more. 5) If no average, bowler will bowl scratch.

b. If current league average for 21 games or more is 15 or more pins higher than last year’s highest book

average, use the current average at the time of bowling the first event.

c. It shall be the bowler’s responsibility to verify the accuracy of his/her average, whether originally

submitted by the bowler, the team captain, or others. Failure to use the proper average or make a

correction prior to the completion of the first game of a series, shall disqualify the score if the submitted

average is lower than the actual average.

d. As a condition of entry, a bowler who has won a cash and/or merchandise prize of $300 or more in any

event; total combined prize winnings of $500 or more in any one tournament; or a total combined prize

winnings of $1000 or more in all tournaments within the last 12 month period, MUST, AT TIME OF ENTRY,

REPORT their actual score, position, and amount won. Bowlers are also cautioned to be aware of the

average adjustment requirements of USBC Rule 319e.

3. FORMAT

Handicap will be 90% of 720.

Bowlers will bowl three (3) games on the same pair of lanes.

4. CASH PRIZE LIST

A cash prize list will be based on at least 1 in 5 ratio.
