COURSE DESCRIPTION
The University of Ottawa, Office of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and the Division of General Surgery are proud to present this 1-day course designed to provide general surgeons with relevant and
up-to-date information about practical General surgery topics. This conference will also allow participants to meet, dialogue and network with general surgery specialists through plenary sessions and interactive
short presentations.
OVERALL LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Assess current clinical management issues in surgical patients for general surgeons in practice, residents, medical students, nurses and other health care professionals in the field. Integrate new clinical management processes, techniques and guidelines in their practice. Facilitate collaboration and networking among health
care professionals in the Ottawa area.
