En Mohd Imran Radzi is the Senior Executive of the Market Developing Unit at the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).

8. Survey of MDG

To evaluate the outcome of Market Development Grant (MDG) in assisting Malaysian SMEs going for export.

Objective of the Survey

i. The survey was conducted through questionnaires sent out via email to 4,510 MDG recipients in the period of 2014 –

2018.

ii. Factory visits were conducted by five (5) Regional Offices and MATRADE HQ officers. The visits also provided

check and balance regarding the companies existence /operations.

iii. The secretariat received feedback from 594 respondents which represented 13% of response rate
