Events for Prospective Members and Heritage Associates
Throughout the year, Pasadena Heritage
extends the opportunity to current members
and Heritage Associates to invite friends
who may be interested in supporting the
organization to join us for small group
excursions or special receptions. During these
events, Board members and staff can talk
with guests about our mission, the urgency of
our work, and current activities that might be
of interest. These special events are not yet
scheduled for 2018, but may include a private
tour, dinner in a member’s historic home, or
other unique outings. Please contact the office
if you would like to be notified of our next
recruitment event.
Private Reception for Heritage Associates and Major Donors
Once a year Pasadena Heritage gathers our
Heritage Associates and our major donors
to thank them for the support they give to
the organization. Guests receive personal
invitations and are treated to a reception at an
exclusive location, most often a private home.
Heritage Associates receive other special
benefits throughout the year as well. If you are
interested in learning more about Heritage
Associates membership, please contact the
office.

Participate Pasadena is a community
engagement initiative started by Pasadena
Heritage in 2017 to better inform and
encourage community involvement in
planning, design, and legislative issues in the
City. Our goal is to encourage more Pasadena
residents to become involved in these
important issues and to participate with us in
shaping the City’s future.
The first Participate Pasadena meeting in 2018
is planned for February. The date, time and
place have not been confirmed as of yet. Topics
will include Mansionization and the City’s
newly drafted guidelines and regulations for
single family homes, and an introduction to
the upcoming Specific Plan process that is the
next step in updating the General Plan.
Help Pasadena Heritage understand what
community members love most, and like least,
about the city today. Please take a few minutes
and tell us what you think. You can also tell us
if you would like us to contact you about the
next meeting.
Take our 4-minute survey by going to https://
www.surveymonkey.com/r/SDJ7YSX.

incentives for rehabilitation projects through
programs like the Mills Act. How do you know
if your property or neighborhood is eligible?
What is the application process? These

Department, and local citizens participating in
each of the programs.

architecture, home decor, landscape, furniture,
recipes, and more, it has everything a homeowner
needs to create an indoor-outdoor living space
that has been and will always be a standard for
California living.
Pasadena Heritage’s Spring Home Tour, “Better
Homes and Gardens”, invites guests to see and

together to create perfect harmony. From “curb
