POST SHOWREPORT
EUROPE’S LARGEST EXHIBITION AND CONFERENCE SHOWCASING SUSTAINABLE AGTECH
THE WORLD’S ONLY EVENT DEDICATED TO SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE ACROSS ALL TYPES OF FOOD PRODUCTIONWhen the Global Forum for Innovations in Agriculture (GFIA) was launched in 2014 in Abu Dhabi, it leveraged partnerships with over 40 influential organisations such as the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the UN, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Bank, that wanted a platform to show the world how technology gives us the only real chance of feeding nine billion people without destroying the environment.
With an established edition in Abu Dhabi, we are delighted to have launched GFIA Europe in the Netherlands, the world’s second largest exporter of agricultural produce.
A truly international event with 2565 attendees from 65 countries and exhibitors from 25 countries.1It is the only event dedicated to showcasing innovations in sustainable agriculture across all types of food production.
2GFIA attracts decision makers from across the food value chain to enable cross-sector collaboration and deal making.

THREE MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
We’ve been struck by the quality of conversations being had at GFIA Europe. Most of the big players from global agribusiness are here and the number of high-level influencers that you’ve been able to attract to this first European event has been impressive. Thanks for helping us reach out to industry leaders and bring the open data conversation to them.
