ABOUT STROUD CRICKET CLUB

Stroud Cricket Club was founded by George Poulett Scroupe in 1850. After moving around the Stroud district for many years, SCC finally settled at Farmhill in the 1880s, where it remained until September 2010 when the Club ground at Farmhill was sold to Newland Homes for property development. This enabled

the club to purchase extensive new grounds, improve facilities and also secured the club’s financial future.

SCC is playing this year in the West of England Premier Cricket League – Gloucester Division.

The Club currently runs four senior teams on a Saturday, as well as a youth development team on a Sunday.

The youth section is strong, with expert coaching and several teams of different age ranges. The club is a focus group within the county as part of the Sport

England Project, and has Club Mark accreditation.

SCC recently introduced a new skittles alley, encouraging further use of the facilities.

4. MATCH DAY SPONSOR

Indulge in VIP treatment for the day. Stroud Cricket Club hosts approximately 18 home games per season, where both pitches

are used and two matches run simultaneously.

Sponsor Days

Sponsor Days will be a day for all sponsors to come and see the

club in action!

It will be a chance to see the premises in use, enjoy our hospitality and

an opportunity to meet fellow sponsors, as well as players and

members of the club.
