2017 FRESHMAN ORIENTATIONFreshman Orientation at Cal State East Bay is an exciting and engaging program designed to help you start a successful journey at the university. At Freshman Orientation you will learn about essential campus resources, receive important academic guidance, meet new people and explore the many opportunities available at Cal State East Bay. Freshman Orientation is a mandatory program for all incoming freshmen. The $110 orientation fee is nonrefundable. Log in to MyCSUEB to register for Freshman Orientation today, or visit csueastbay.edu/orientation for an orientation checklist and more information.HAYWARD CAMPUS• Friday, June 16: One-day program• Thursday, June 29 – Friday, June 30: Two-day overnight program• Friday, July 7: One-day program• Thursday, July 13 – Friday, July 14: Two-day overnight program• Friday, July 28: One-day program

CONCORD CAMPUS• Tuesday, July 25th: One-day freshman orientation*Two-day, overnight program: An automatic $45 overnight fee will be applied to the two-day program for meals, lodging and an extra day of interactive activities designed to help you acclimate to campus life.

REGISTRATION & REMINDERS: To reserve your space at an upcoming Freshman Orientation session, log in to MyCSUEB. In the top left corner, click the “Orientation Reservation” link. Follow the prompts to sign up. You must take the English Placement Test (EPT) and the Entry Level Math Test (ELM) prior to registering for Freshman Orientation. Visit the ELM/EPT link at csueastbay.edu/testing for details on testing dates, locations and exemption criteria. Only students who have been admitted to the university and have indicated their intent to register are able to sign up for Freshman Orientation. Overnight accommodations for one-day programs are available at Pioneer Heights Student Apartments.
