Thanks to what Hyundai designers call Fluidic Sculpture, Azera flows elegantly from its available integrated LED fog lights in front to its hexagonal dual exhaust tips in back. CRUISE CONTROL WITH STOP/START Azera’s Smart Cruise Control uses radar to judge the distance of vehicles in front of you, then accelerates or brakes to help maintain a driver-selectable distance. When the vehicle ahead of you comes to a complete stop, your Azera will automatically come to a full stop – and automatically start moving again if the vehicle ahead moves forward within three seconds.1

BLIND SPOT DETECTION Azera warns its driver of an approaching vehicle using indicators on the side mirrors or, if needed, an audible warning. Lane Change Assist factors the speed of adjacent vehicles into the warning calculus when you’re switching lanes.

FORWARD THINKING Azera Limited comes with Forward Collision Warning that senses the potential for collision with a vehicle in front of you and sounds an alarm. The warning signals the driver to apply braking to help prevent a collision or mitigate its impact.2

STEERING AGILITY Azera’s advanced speed-sensitive power steering offers lighter steering feel at low speeds for easy maneuverability, and a firmer feel as speed increases for improved responsivenss. Azera’s impressive 36.5-foot turning diameter is something you’ll appreciate when parking lots become obstacle courses.

Azera’s 3.3L V6 engine creates effortless power and surprising fuel efficiency, thanks to its innovative use of Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) and Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing. GDI injects fuel directly into the cylinder, which optimizes the air/fuel mixture to create a cleaner-burning combustion with increased power delivery and very little wasted fuel. Azera's Active ECO System, which modifies engine and transmission controls at the press of a button, can also be engaged for further fuel economy efficiencies.

Your power over rough roads comes from an expertly tuned SACHS® Amplitude Selective Damping suspension. The ability to smooth over even the roughest road is something Hyundai engineers have instilled into Azera using our California Proving Grounds – one of the world’s most advanced automotive research and development centers. In Azera, your sense of security comes from its impressive suite of active safety technologies. To help you drive safely, a Vehicle Stability Management system automatically manages an impressive array of important safety features including Electronic Stability Control with Traction Control System and an Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist.1

To warn you of potential collisions, Azera is equipped with Forward Collision Warning and rear parking sensors. It's also the first car in its class to offer Blind Spot Detection, standard. This radar-based system helps detect when a vehicle is in the driver’s blind spot and provides both audible and visual alerts to help keep you aware as you move down the road.

When reverse gear is selected, Rear Cross-traffic Alert and a standard rearview camera help identify and warn the driver of obstacles in back and vehicles approaching from the side. If an oncoming vehicle is detected by the front camera at night, automatic High Beam Assist switches from high- to low-beam headlights. Now that’s a bright idea.
