CRUiSE CONtROL WitH StOP/StARt For those longer drives on the highway, Azera’s Smart Cruise Control adjusts to the flow of traffic. It uses radar to judge the distance and speed of vehicles in front of you and automatically accelerates or decelerates to help maintain the distance selected by the driver. When the vehicle ahead of you comes to a complete stop, your Azera automatically stops, too. If the vehicle ahead starts moving forward within three seconds, then your Azera automatically starts moving again.2 Smart, don’t you think?

It uses a sophisticated SACHS Amplitude Selective Damping suspension at all four wheels to soak up wrinkles in the road on a bump-by-bump basis. ADVANCED SAFETY

Safety features are like friends – you can never have too many. And if you’ve compared Azera to its primary competitors, you already know this: Azera has more standard passive and active advanced safety features than they do.1

Azera is the only car in its class to offer Blind Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-traffic Alert as standard.2 This radar-based system helps detect the presence of vehicles in your rear blind spots while driving, and warns of cars approaching from the side when backing out of parking spaces. Completing the full circle of technology, Azera Limited's available Forward Collision Warning uses a forward-sensing camera to monitor for potential collisions and alerts the driver.

At the core of the 2017 Azera’s active safety strategy is an advanced Vehicle Stability Management system. It automatically manages several important safety features including Electronic Stability Control with a Traction Control System and an Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist.3 All standard.

Hyundai’s award-winning Blue Link® Connected Care system is also standard for the first year of ownership.4 It includes Enhanced Roadside Assistance, SOS Emergency Assistance, Monthly Vehicle Health Reports and more – a few very good friends to have onboard when you need them.

REAR PARKiNG ASSiStANCE WitH REAR CROSS-tRAFFiC ALERt Backing into parking spaces or backing out of driveways is nobody’s idea of a good time. To make it easier, Azera Limited comes standard with rear parking sensors that give an audible indication when you’re nearing an object. Another standard technology, Rear Cross-traffic Alert, helps warn the Azera driver of vehicles approaching from the side when reverse gear is selected.

AUtOmAtiC HiGH BEAm ASSiStDriving at night poses special challenges. Which is why Azera Limited comes standard with automatic High Beam Assist. When an oncoming vehicle is detected by the front camera, it automatically switches Azera’s headlights from high to low beams.

BLiNd SPOt dEtECtiON ANd LANE CHANGE ASSiSt To warn the Azera driver of a vehicle approaching from the side, Blind Spot Detection uses blinking indicators on the side mirrors and an audible warning to help keep you aware as you navigate through traffic. FORWARd COLLiSiON WARNiNGAn extra set of eyes is always welcome when navigating through the chaos of heavy traffic.
