The latest in automotive audio technology is optional in the all-new 2015 Lincoln MKC. An available THX II Certified Audio System – the culmination of a 10-year collaboration between Lincoln and THX engineers – delivers a rich, immersive surround-sound experience that’s robust and distortion-free. The enhanced THX II system features THX distributed bass technology and 14 right, center and left speakers. The system includes two-way slot speaker assemblies, alternatives to traditional circular speakers designed to improve the range and direction of the sound waves. Drivers can control the system using traditional knobs and buttons on the center stack, thumb-control buttons mounted on the steering wheel, or touch-screen controls on the 8-inch center stack-mounted screen.
