Before starting the survey, please read the following instructions about survey operation and organizational data you will need to have available to complete the survey. All survey instructions are provided to you below. Overview The IMPACT Index is part of an ongoing collaborative project between the International Business Innovation Association (InBIA), the University of Central Florida (UCF), and the United States Economic Development Agency (EDA) to study the economic impact of entrepreneurial support programs. The data will be placed in a database that will be searchable by variables that include geographic region, industry focus, and program type. In the future, InBIA will utilize the data collected to publish an annual benchmark report that comparatively tracks the outcome performance of entrepreneurial support programs across highly granular variables. The data set will be maintained by the InBIA, and will be perpetually available to the EDA and other qualified institutions for research and analysis purposes. Phase I: The first phase of the IMPACT survey is now open and will collect key performance metrics on programs that support entrepreneurs. At the end of the survey for Phase I you will be asked if you have any data on client companies to help seed the initial data collection for Phase II. Phase II: The second phase of the IMPACT survey will be conducted after a baseline of organizations have been established in Phase 1, which is anticipated to be in late 2016 or early 2017. Phase II aims to collect performance metrics on companies that have gone through the entrepreneurial support programs that completed Phase I. General Instructions Survey Term & Reporting Period: Fiscal Year 2015 The IMPACT survey requests data for your fiscal year 2015 regardless the month your fiscal year begins in. The 2015 reporting period may be any 12-month period that ends in the calendar year 2015, e.g., 6/2014 – 6/2015, 9/2014 – 8/2015, etc. The 2015 fiscal year survey will be available to respondents for a specific period of time. The 2015 fiscal year deadline will be announced on the IMPACT survey website at impactindex.inbia.org. Respondents may respond to the survey, update or change their information as many times as needed before submitting their survey. After submission, changes may only be made under special arrangements with the survey administrator ([email protected]). Confidential Status Organizational data will remain confidential to responding organizations and will not be published, outside of your personal benchmark report. The benchmark report will be sent directly to the respondent and the organization’s key executive identified in the survey. Neither the institution’s name nor data will be visible to other parties or through the database searches. However, confidential data will be included within the aggregate dataset and reports.

Overview
