Jurien Bay Boat Ramps

Jurien Bay, Western Australia

The Department of Transport undertook expansion works to the existing boat launching ramp at Jurien Bay Harbour to overcome the congestion on both land and water being at the existing facility. Watpac widened the existing boat ramp and constructed two additional ramps to double its capacity. Modifications and extensions to the existing car park were also constructed.

The widening of the boat ramps involved the relocation of the existing shelter and modifications to the adjacent area to provide extended reverse bays. The boat ramp remained operational during construction to minimise any inconvenience to the facility users.
