Cerdarious BoothCerdarious Booth is the son of Tamika Lewis. He
plans to move to Smyrna, Tenn. where he will attend community college while majoring in nursing. His favorite HHS activity is being a member of FCCLA, FBLA and FFA. His favorite teachers are Tamara Comer, Shane Russom and Julia Porter. His favorite class was Julia Porter’s textile and apparel classes where he sewed and made pillows. His fondest memory is when the Vikings won the TSSAA State Championship. When asked about his greatest lesson learned at HHS, Booth said, “You have got to stay to yourself at HHS in order to accomplish your goals.” For those he leaves behind at HHS he said, “Always keep God first and remember, anything is possible if you strive for it.”
Desonta BradfordDesonta Bradford is the son of Sharlice Bradford
and Kenneth Hunt. He plans to attend East Tennessee State University and then play for the NBA. His favorite HHS activity is basketball and his favorite teacher is Mrs. Mayer. He enjoyed P.E. because they played basketball. His fondest HHS memory is winning the basketball state championship. While at HHS Bradford said he has learned it’s not all about you. “Work hard to be the best,” is the advice he offers for those he leaves behind at HHS.
Grant BrittainGrant Brittain is the son of Barry and LeAnne
Brittain. He plans to attend Jackson State Community College with intentions to transfer to Union. His favorite HHS activity is football and baseball and his
favorite teacher is Coach Brett Lovett. His favorite class is history because he has always loved history. Grant’s favorite HHS memory is beating Milan in Milan his senior year. His greatest lesson learned at HHS is, “No matter how hard the going gets, don’t stop trying.” He hopes the underclassmen will continue the sports legacy his senior class of 2014 has accomplished.
Kendall BrooksKendall Brooks is the daughter of Venus McNeal.
She plans to attend Jackson State Community College for two years and then attend the University of Tennessee at Martin where she will major in criminal justice. Her favorite HHS activities are football and basketball games and her favorite teacher is Mr. Dunlap. Her favorite class is automotive with Mr. Taylor because she likes cars and all the different parts that makes it. Her favorite HHS memory is winning state. Brooks said her greatest lesson learned at HHS is that we all make mistakes but it’s never too late to get it right. For those she leaves behind she offers this advice, “Reach far and beyond yourselves because you are worth more than you believe.”
Allison BrownAllison Brown, daughter of Mary Brown, plans to
attend Jackson State Community College where she will study to become a medical office secretary. Her
favorite HHS activity is playing and marching in the HHS Pride Band. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Carla Brown. She enjoys band because she learned to play different varieties of music. Her fondest HHS memory is when the boys basketball team won state. The greatest lesson learned while at HHS was, she said, “To be myself, put God first and be the best at everything I do in life.” To those she leaves behind at HHS, Brown said, “Keep God first in your life and remember that prayer is the key to the kingdom and faith unlocks the door.”
Marquarius BrownMarquarius Brown is the son of Tanzania Pharms.
After graduation he plans to attend Lincoln College. His favorite HHS activity is football and his favorite teacher is Mr. Tubbs. History is his favorite class because it keeps you up to date on our every day lives. His fondest HHS memory is being part of the class that broke the streak against Milan and his 15 yard touchdown run on defense. Learning how to stick together is his greatest lesson learned at HHS. For those he leaves behind at HHS, Brown said, “Stay focused and strive for success.”

Natris Morris. He plans to attend Bethel University where he will play football. His favorite HHS activity is football and his favorite teacher is Mr. Banks. He
enjoys mechanics class because he learns things about his car and how to fix them. His fondest HHS memory is winning state. The greatest lesson learned at HHS is to realize what and when to do and how to react to situations. For those he leaves behind at HHS Brown offered this advice, “Stay humble.”

McCurry and Juan Bryson. Though undecided on where she will attend, Ivey plans to further her education at college. Her favorite teacher is Mr. Shane and science is her favorite class because it interests her the most. Her fondest HHS memory is winning Homecoming Queen. For those she leaves behind at HHS, Bryson said, “Do your best and keep striving no matter what.”

to get a degree in chemistry and become a renowned chemist. His favorite HHS activity was Gibson County Youth Leadership program. Coach Lane was his favorite teacher. Chemistry was his favorite class because Coach Lane inspired him. That, and he finds the study of matter intriguing. His fondest HHS memory is meeting some of the coolest people he’s ever met in his life. The greatest lesson learned at HHS is to always believe in himself. His wish for those he leaves behind at HHS is, “Always remain vigilant of the perils of any choice you make.”

English is her favorite class because, she said, “Mr. Wardlow is hilarious, plus it’s my favorite subject.” Her fondest HHS memory is being crowned Miss HHS. The greatest lesson learned while at HHS is that high school goes by faster than you think so cherish every moment. For those she leaves behind at HHS she said, “It’s better to cross the line and suffer the consequences than to just stare at that line for the rest of your life.”

The greatest lesson learned while at HHS is to do what she does best when doing her work. Study and just focus. Nunn-Dodson and Martin Dodson. He plans to attend Tennessee Tech University in the fall. His favorite HHS activity is the Great Pretenders show. Jay Wardlow and Honors English IV are his favorites because Mr. Wardlow would always have some funny catch phrase to say, like, “That’s unfortunate.” His fondest HHS memory was when the 2010-2011 football team won against Gibson County 55-0 in honor of Kane Young. The greatest lesson learned while at HHS is “Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.” He wishes for those he leaves behind at HHS to stay focused and always remember that there is a sun shining above the clouds.

His fondest HHS memory is making the state finals in band his freshman year. The greatest lesson he learned while at HHS is that you can’t make it far without putting forth the effort. Lucio Flores. She plans to attend West Tennessee Business College where she will study to become a medical assistant. Her favorite HHS activities are FFA and HOSA. Mr. Tubbs is her favorite teacher. Her favorite class is EMS where she learned CPR and other important techniques to help people. Her fondest memory of HHS is her senior year.
